I took a chance, I was rewarded
A quick disclaimer, I know the Author in passing, and I have no interest in TVRs.There, I said it. No interest in TVRs, they are gorgeous looking cars, but I like my cars practical and a little more off road capable. I bought the book to see what the Author had been up to, and expected to flick through a few pages and put it back on a shelf. What actually happened, is I picked it up, and read the whole lot. I'm not a reader of this type of book generally, but actually I quite like the way its written. It flows reasonably well and I found I could easily jump over a section/page and not get lost. At times the content is a little more detailed than I really need, some of the pictures are not as high quality as I would like.Given the aim of the book I guess it was no surprise that at one point I took a fleeting glance at eBay to see what was available, I certainly feel better equipped to look at a Chimera if I was ever to consider buying one!

Awful binding but great content
The content is informative and the author clearly knows his subject extremely well. It's a well balanced survey of two iconic cars and extremely helpful in enabling you to come to a sensible decision about whether to go for one of these cars and what to look out for. It's a shame the binding is so awful, leaving the book in pieces after one read through

Great and informative
Great and informative, but this book is a bit on the small size and being a paperback I don’t think the spine will lasts very long, would have payed more for a large book and hard back

Poor production values
Such a shame that this useful book is not better produced. Within a couple of days the pages have fallen out of my copy and it won’t belong before it has fallen apart completely. The spine simply does not have the strength to hold the pages.

Hugely Disappointing book!
When I ordered this book back in November I did not have the full details because Amazon did not publish them.( i had no previous knowledge of this book series)Now that I have received it I can only say how disappointed I am with both the A5 size (195mm X 140mm) and the fact that it is a cheap paperback - neither of these points was known in November!I know there will be people out there that will say that this is the perfect size to take with you when going to look at these cars but if they had made it hard backed at least the spine will stay intact for more than a couple of visits! At the release price I paid for it - it will be going back. Maybe if it drops to £6-7 I might consider it again. The content although in colour is not that inciteful so you are more likely to use the book as a memory jogger rather than learning anything new.

A must-have.
If you are considering buying a TVR Chimaera or Griffith, look no further than this book. Relevant whether you are a complete novice or a marque expert, you'd be mad not to take this book with you when viewing a car. Richard explains everything in an easy going manner, and like his other book on the TVR S Series, it's a good starting point if you are vjust curious' at this stage. The only complaint I have is that he should have brought it out before I bought my Chimaera!

Great size
I’m only small myself so I love the A5 size. As an experienced owner I can say it definitely reaffirms the stuff most owners find later than the day of purchase.

A buyer's guide for the serious buyers (TVR, not Mondeo)
A very well written and informative book for anyone interested in purchasing a Chimaera or Griffith. The author runs a very well respected TVR (and other specialist cars) garage on the south coast and has people travelling from all over to visit. What he doesn't know about these models isn't worth knowing, and thankfully he's shared his knowledge with others.
