I love that the product is a healthier alternative than conventional face paints and make up. However, as is often times the case, the performance suffers. I have only used the black paint and it smears easily. It never seems to set. Still, I prefer to use it on my child as a safer, healthier option.

The make up is great! But I am very disappointed by the plastic packaging, especially the bag where I found the make up. When I am buying organic, I also like a sustainable packaging in paper for example....

As a mom, I want to do what's best for my children. What goes on to your skin, the largest organ of your person, soaks into your skin. I don't want that to be full of chemicals. I also want to be able to buy non toxic products that actually work! It can be hard to be green, but it's a business in high demand.Anyhow, I bought these for my daughter's birthday party. I thought it would be fun to have little stations for the girls. I had to use stencils :-/ because I'm not that artistic, but they turned out fabulous. The colors were vibrant and easy to work with. We had a great time with this little set. My only quip would be that I wish there were more colors. The party was for little girls, so of course we were missing some of the more favorite little girl ones like pinks and purples, or even some sparkly options. All in all, I'd buy another set again from this company.

I love that this is non-toxic. I bought for my kids to use for Halloween clowns. The first issue I had, was the red is actually burnt orange. A clown with orange cheeks and lips looked slightly odd. I then spent 2 hours shopping last minute for non toxic red lipstick. Then I had hard time getting it off one of my kids. I emailed and they instantly responded and said to use lotion. They had wonderful customer service. That helped, but my sons face was red with bumps by then.

Very happy with our purchase.First and foremost, it's good to know that these are safe, non-toxic products. These are being applied to our kids' skin/faces, so knowing we're not putting sketchy chemicals is a real positive.The jars stack up into each other, making storage and transport easy.Now, the colors are not always going to completely cover the skin in one application. As with most face paints, some colors cover better than others. But since these are safe, then I don't worry about having to apply more paint to get the density I need.They held up pretty good to my kid running around. The thicker application could smear, but again, I think that's with any face paint.It washes off nicely. I found using a soft terry cloth had the best results for removal.Yes, these cost more than other sets, but I don't mind paying more for better, and safer quality products, especially when it comes to my kid.We need to encourage more companies to follow this model.

The paint clumped and rolled a little for me so I had to keep removing little clumped and rolled pieces off my child's face which made me smudge the paint. It did the job and without the worry of putting toxic paint on a child, but wished it didn't roll.

My oldest daughter is three and we are just entering the world of face painting. I decided it was time for us to buy our own kit, so I started researching. I was not happy to find that many of the big brand names have been found to have chemicals and heavy metals and was worried that I would have to explain to my daughter that we would not be getting face paints. I was thrilled to find Go Green Face Paints and equally happy to receive and use them. I have pretty much no face painting experience, so I can't compare these to other brands, but I have been very happy with them. The paints apply easily, wash off easily and look great. And I have no qualms about putting them on my kids' skin, so I don't feel like I have to restrict use.

This face paint has been great for my kids. With the right brushes, it works great and the colors are vibrant. I also love that it washes off easily and is safe for my kids. We have the primary color set and the snow queen colors, and the snow queen colors are shimmery and really pretty, which I'm not sure you see in the photo. The white is a plain white, but the other 4 colors (purple, pink, two shades of blue) are shimmery with some sparkle. Also, the blue from the primary set is not the same blue as the ones in the snow queen, so the only repeat color from those sets is the white. In the primary set, the red is a brick red/brown shade. My 4-year old got the snow queen set and wanted a blue shimmery mustache–gotta love her imagination! Great product!
