The inflatable crib finally arrived today. I was feeling the excitement as I opened the box and hurried to get it inflated to see how big it was. Unfortunately, it was a little short for me but the main idea was to have an extra one in addition to my “T- Bear” built crib. So in reality it was really supposed to be a play pen for the front room – which it would actually be better at. One disappointing thing about the product other than as no surprise it was made in China, was that it really did not have a good protective soft coating on it like the actual inflatable mattresses you can buy. That was a bit dis-appointing. I was told that the pump that came with it was whimpy, which is was, BUT the good point about the small pump is that it would be great on trips but don’t bother to wear it out at home as it took me an hour to get the play pen inflated and the pump got hot and it said on the side of it 10 Minutes use / 5 Minutes shut down meaning the thing was not meant to be used over 10 minutes. One feature I wish they would have included was at least having those clear plastic windows on the open side bars – so now I will look to see if there is a way to get that mesh stuff the right size for that so that even your toys cannot fall out of your playpen when being stuck there for time outs for the afternoon at “Grammas!” They could have saved us all a lot of trouble by putting those plastic windows in eh? This particular one was ordered through Amazon which gives one the security and the shipping was reasonable at only about $30 for something as heavy like this to ship. However, the product itself, I would have to say is probably not worth much more than about $50 to $75 compared to the $120 they wanted for it on Amazon. I would wait at least until they make some more modifications to it before ordering it unless you plan to use it for anything more than a pool toy like in the promo videos they use.

Don't use it much but it is just what I wanted.

You have to push down a side or end to climb in. Why, on earth, didn't they put a "gate" in it? They could have easily made one corner with a few snaps, so you swing it open, get in, and snap it closed. It's adorable, but impractical. I do not recommend this to littles or ABDLs.
