Absolute Bargain brilliance!
My Morphy Richards steam generator packed up and due to my business being currently closed due to Coronavirus I couldn't afford to but a new one as over £100.I bought this to tide me over not expecting much, however it's surprisingly excellent with loads of steam. It works slightly differently than most other irons/ generators so read the booklet. The button right at the front needs to be pushed to start the steam function and the trigger button on the handle stops it.It has a year guarantee and happily steamed through my heavy cotton duvet cover which a regular iron just doesn't without leaving the crease marks from washing.Does just as good a job as my previous steam generator which was over £150 - so highly delighted!

Good value
Initially thought my iron was faulty as, despite following the instructions carefully it made a horrible rattling noise when the steam button was pressed, however after leaving it on for about 5 mins it suddenly started to work and does a good job. The continuous steam button is a really good feature and it irons clothes as well as the Russell Hobbs iron it replaced which cost almost twice as much. Only downside is the water tank - it's coloured blue which makes it hard to see the water level when you fill it.

Excellent steam generator iron for the price you pay
This iron is excellent, for £30 don't expect it to perform as well as an iron costing £150, IT WON'T, WHY WOULD IT?? However, its close, it has out-performed my previous Morphy Richards at the £80 price range. You have the option of continuous steam or press on demand, irons great and is well built. The only disadvantage is its difficult to see the water level, but when filled to the max line it should last a while. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, people leave negative reviews because they don't feel the need to read instructions , so it stops working due to incorrect use or they haven't maintained it properly.

Great iron
Great iron, heats up quickly, plenty steam , easy to store . Obviously it’s not a high quality as the more expensive irons but considering the price I thinks it amazing. The only issue I have had is there is a small plastic covering around steam tube at point it connects to iron and this can unbalance the iron while standing . I would definitely recommend this iron .

Great value.
The reason I have given 4 stars is that you can't see the fill line on the water tank, I have to put the tank in the window sill to try and see it, also if you need to fill the tank while ironing you have to turn it off and start again. Apart from that it's a really nice iron just as good as my old one which was a lot more expensive, and very good value. If it lasts me 12 months it's been well worth the money.

Very poor quality and incredibly frustrating to use!!
I don’t often write a product review but today I feel the need to warn other prospective steam generator purchasers away from this product. The product itself appears to be manufactured with cheap materials, it feels cheap and lacks the finishing touches so many others have. The cord for example does not have ball joint to allow the iron the stand up on the ironing board Without it tipping over 9/10. The water tank did not fit properly into the housing so the iron will not generate steam 9/10.I generally quite like ironing, but with this product I found I was so frustrated I felt like throwing the product out of the window. Where steam generator irons are supposed to speed up the chore of ironing with this iron I spent more time just trying to get it to generate any steam at all, or catching it as it fell over so it didn’t damage the floor (that in itself is an art with a hot iron). In short I had more steam coming out of my ears then this product could generate. Spend a bit more money and save yourself the anguish and frustration.

Budget but perfect
A cheaper iron to what we were used too, and that is the only reason why 4 stars as lesser quality. However it does the job perfectly, has an auto shut off which was on our wish list and we like how you can keep the steam on. Don’t do a huge amount of ironing so perfect for our needs, wouldn’t choose differently.
