BEST DOG BED EVER
This is the best money I have ever spent on any pet product. I got the green canvas bed in the largest size for my 60 lb boxer/heeler mix, and stuffed it with old pillows. It's fluffy and comfortable and my dog LOVES it.The material is thick and of good quality. I have had it for several months now, and it has survived several washings, bone chewing sessions, getting tossed around, and my dog "fluffing" it with his dragon claws every night. There are no snags or tears, and it doesn't show any wear. The zipper is hardy and not cheap. The internal water resistant cover is a nylon material that is not too thin, and I don't have to worry about the contents getting soaked with slobber or dirt. All I have to do is slip the canvas cover off and toss it in the wash - what other dog bed can you do that with?! I don't have to worry about the stuffing getting ruined or it taking up tons of space in the machine. And dogs get their beds so gross. I just slip the cover off, the bed stays intact in the internal cover, wash it, and slip it back on. SO EASY.Plus, it's huge. My dog can curl up on half of it or spread out on the whole thing. You could spend way over $100 for another bed of the same size. AND you're recycling old pillows that are expensive in the first place. What a waste to throw them away. My dog will enjoy the pillows in his bed for years to come.I cannot recommend this bed enough. So glad I bought it.

High quality, durable dog bed covers
I purchased this set (Oxford in Dark Slate, Medium) to replace an old, tattered Kong bed. I have six (yes, six) canines in the house and so far so good! I am very pleased and impressed with the quality of these covers. They are MUCH thicker/more durable feeling than I was expected and what I was led to believe from other reviewers. The waterproof liner is very thick as well - about twice the thickness of a Target-brand (Boots & Barkey) waterproof liner I have. The zipper more sturdy than I expected as well. The Oxford fabric is not delicate by any means - it withstands their digging and chewing toys on it without snagging or developing loose threads. It is, though, a little slippery against the hardwood floors. I attached an image of the fabric up close so you can see the stitching and color (dark slate is a very appealing blue-grey). I had no idea what "oxford" was so I contacted the company (dogbed4less.com) directly - they responded to my email within minutes and really helped me narrow down my choice of covers based on what qualities I needed most.Regarding sizing - the dimensions they list are the FLAT unfilled bed dimensions. I kind of wish I had gotten the large since I didn't account for this when measuring the old bed (my own fault). For example, the medium filled turns out to be about 33" x 25" when stuffed with an old bed that is a couple inches thick.I've run the outer cover through the washer/dryer and it has held up well so far. It seems like if your dog is a chewer, you'll have problems with durability. But then again, you'd have that problem with any dog bed I'd assume... In my own experience, this set of covers is indeed durable for regular non-chewers, even beagles(!).

Great quality, easy to keep clean, don’t warp or tear.
I absolutely love these bedding covers! I have two dogs and two cats, and between the four we have a hard time keeping nearly any pet bedding clean and undamaged. I’ve been in a cycle of replacing beds every few months for years. The smaller of our two dogs LOVES to chew holes in any pillow/bed/toy to pull all the stuffing out. One of our cats does *not* like the dogs, and enjoys occasionally peeing on their bedding out of spite. I’ve always run into the same problems: any bed strong enough to not get chewed through is really hard to put in the washing machine, and most beds that are easier to wash either get chewed through or fall apart after or warp after being washed multiple times. But not these! I ordered the medium brown denim which is very sturdy (think human jeans). It also felt more full with 3 standard (albeit cheap) pillows inserted rather than 2, so if you have a medium-large sized dog (like my pit bull-mix), you might err on the lower side because the medium is still pretty massive. The zipper itself is very, very good quality which was one of my concerns. In the past, dog beds I’ve owned with removable covers have had problems with lots of washes where the zippers start to break or warp.Ive owned them a few months now and have washed them probably 10-15 times and they still look brand new with no holes in them. At this point I’ve almost given into the fact that I will probably, at some point, have to replace *any* bedding I buy, but if these continue to work so well they may become my go-to.

Love this cover!
We had a bunch of crummy old pillows that I wanted to stuff into a shell and this product was exactly what I needed. I wanted it to match the rest of our decor though and was nervous about buying the gray microsuede-look fabric because I thought it would start to look disgusting after the dogs would chew one of their many Nylabones on it… well I am pleased to report that it holds up beautifully to all of the normal dog behaviors! I’m a bit embarrassed to say but I haven’t washed that cover once since we bought it months ago - and it doesn’t look dirty at all!Something that’s kind of funny is it seems to retain air inside of the waterproof shell so when the dogs lay on it it’s actually a bit poofy! It’s kind of nice - it adds a little bit of extra cushion!
