After trying numerous dog beds for our old and very arthritic girl, we finally found this bed! Let me just say, that this is an AWESOME bed! It is truly 4 inches of orthopaedic foam that stays up. The waterproof cover over the foam is a miracle for us as we have a puppy that is still potty training and likes to have "accidents" on his sister's bed. The cover (we have the soft gray microsuede) is fabulous and we bought a second one so that when we wash there is always one on the bed. But the most important part of this review is that our dog LOVES this bed! Do yourself a favor and look no further, this is THE bed! Just for sizing- we have a 60 pound American Staffordshire Terrier and we bought a large bed.

I purchased this item after searching for a dog bed with an internal waterproof liner that would hold up to bring exposed to accidents. After the first accident it became clear that this was not the case. The liquid seaped through both liners and the pad itself is now so odiferous that I cannot, in good conscience, allow my dog to use this bed anymore.I would not recommend this product due to this incorrect claim of being waterproof. You will wind up wasting your money if you are buying this purely for the internal "waterproof" liner.Thank you for reading this review and best of luck on your search for a dog bed.

Not waterproof. At all.Our senior dog had an accident on it and it soaked straight through outer case, through the inner "waterproof" case and into the foam.It does seem comfortable at least, the dog liked laying on it. I returned it due to the cover being defective and the listing deceptive, and ordered something else.However- I realized a waterproof crib mattresss cover is roughly the right size as the dog bed (a little long but width is perfect) so I purchased one of those for added protection in case my new dog bed purchase is similarly flawed.

UPDATE - We've had this bed for almost 18 months now and I've decided to order a second one so there's one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The waterproof cover has torn a little, but it's not affecting the mattress at all. We take the cover off and wash it once a week. Sometimes we hang it outside to dry, sometimes throw it in the dryer and it's still in great shape. This is honestly a great bed!When it came in a relatively small box I was skeptical. I bought this for my aging 170 pound English Mastiff. She had been sleeping on a bed I bought at Sams and I noticed she was having trouble getting up. My hubby (who is a vet) told me I should probably buy her an orthopedic bed. I looked at several ranging in price up to $500. I honestly bought this one because it was the cheapest. After unpacking, it took about a day for the bed to "grow" to its full size. My dog took to it immediately. The other day, she was laying with her back to me and I noticed how straight her spine was. She also seems to have less trouble getting up now, though it's only been about a week since we bought it. It's a lot lighter than I thought it would be too. We move it from the living room to the bedroom so she always has it where she needs it. I have to say, I'm really not sure how those expensive beds could be any better.

This bed exceeded my expectations. The inner cover is an excellent feature, and makes removing/replacing the outer cover a breeze. Cover washes nicely. Big enough to comfortably accommodate two medium to large sized dogs. My cat has decided this is her new bed too! I tried it out myself and I have to ad its very comfy!

Best bed I could find for our aging dog. Her current bed was actually too soft and was causing her aches and pains when she got up in the morning.This bed is a true 4” of gel memory foam. Many competitors used just “orthopedic” foam which is essentially egg crate foam that compresses easily under even minimal pressure. This bed is very supportive.The covers are well made and easy to put on. The addition of the waterproof liner is a nice touch to help keep the foam clean and dry for a long life. I also really like having removable covers too easily wash.Another great thing is that dog beds for less offers replacement covers on their website so you can replace a worn cover instead of needing to buy an entire bed.Our 12 year old pooch seems to really like it so far, and enjoys the soft microsuede cover.

We LOVE these beds!! They are true memory foam that conforms to your body. We bought both of these in the brown microsuede, one in 47"x29"for our Shepard and another in 35"x20" for our dachshund. In the picture below, our shepherd is 4 months old and weighs approx 30 lbs. Our dachshund is 5 years old and weighs 15lbs. As you can see, the beds are plenty big enough and the shepherd has plenty of room to grow into hers! The larger one fits in our extra large kennel perfectly which is a nice bonus! The waterproof liner is truly waterproof and the microsuede cover is so soft. They both wash and dry very easily as well. My 200 lb husband laid on the large bed and it conformed very nicely to him and when he got up it regained its shape. Totally worth the money!

This really is a truly wonderful dog bed. I did alot of research, and this is the only bed you ought to consider. It is highest quality and really well~made, it was shipped out the very same day, and the folks of the company are so kind and helpful -- I cannot say enough good things about them! They truly stand behind their products, and now I know why. Sadly, my poor dog passed not long after I purchased this bed, but he sure did love it for the too~short time he had it. He was a senior Chocolate Lab with hip issues, and the ONLY thing I regret was not getting it for him long before. It made such an immediate difference in his overall comfort. This bed is absolutely worth every penny, and your doggy will love and thank you for it. My dog was a big guy (125 lbs.), and I got him the XXL size, and he had plenty of room to spare. I most sincerely recommend this product to you with my whole Heart.

Kayla loves her new Orthopedic Gel Infused Cooling Memory Foam Dog Bed! Once I had it put together, she grabbed a toy and lay on it for a while. Then she got up and got another toy and lay down. This was repeated four times! LOL Definitely a dog approved bed!!Kayla will be having spinal surgery soon, so I asked the Veterinary Hospital what type of bed is best post surgery. I described “this” bed to the Receptionist who put me on hold and when she came back on the line she said the Doctor said “It sounds perfect.” She can’t be on anything too hard or too soft after the surgery. The “cooling” factor will be a bonus!In case anyone is thinking “why did she buy such a huge bed for a small Labrador.” I purchased one size larger crate than she currently has because after surgery she will be recovering in the crate almost all of the time…. possibly for a couple of months….except for “bathroom” breaks. I read on some Veterinary sites that it is best to get a larger than normally needed crate if the pet is going to be crate bound in recovery for a long time. This bed will fit perfectly in Kayla’s new double door crate! Paws and prayers Kayla’s surgery is a success! 🐾🙏❤️

They are much happier to go to bed at night now, seem very relaxed. The beds are incredibly durable, I ordered the Ballistic Nylon covering and it lives up to the name, their big nails haven't even made a mark in it. You could spend 30%-50% less on other beds, but these seem like they will last for years, had them for almost 4 months already and they still look like new. The memory foam still bounces right back each morning when they get up and head outside. I would even want a bed for myself made out of the same memory foam. You won't regret this purchase. Just be aware that as of this review, they are shipping out of the USA so you may incur a border duty on your purchase, probably about $15-$20 a bed. Buy this bed, your dog will love you for it.

Took a couple days for my Rottweiler to get comfortable with, but he's a big boy and older so he soon realized it was heaven. My small shitzu also enjoys cuddling up with him, therefore, it is big enough for both (bought the large size) I enjoyed supporting a small business, but only issues was UPS was a difficult carrier to use as I live in Canada and the shipping cost an arm and a leg. The bed itself was $117, but shipping was $50 and than once it had arrived UPS would not deliver it to the local UPS store until I paid another $20 over the phone. Maybe try using Canada Post for Canadian costumers if possible? The shipping is what would make me decline buying another bed and also sadly makes me not want to refer this to my friends for purchase in Canada. Even so, thank you for making a product available to Canadians. But now that it is here, it was well packaged, I gave it 24 hours to bounce back to its original size and there were comments about there being a synthetic smell...I didn't smell anything. I do wish the cover was a bit more thicker and durable though, but its a great size and 4 inches is the way to go for thickness for a heavy set pup. Thanks!
