Revell RV05172 HMS Invincible (Falkland War) Plastic Model kit, 1:700

My husband took great care and attention assembling this model. It took him almost 3 weeks to make. He even purchased an Airbrush compressor for a flawless finish. I must admit, I'm very impressed by it. Husband is now assembling model number 3!

Bought for father at Xmas. Not started it yet but he's looking forward to doing it soon. Thanks!

Purchased this at same time as Revell Ark Royal 1/720, for a very similar price and its difficult to grasp the quality difference between the two considering both made by Revell and matching price more or less. This is a far superior model in terms of plastic quality, very little flash if any, nice clean lines, bevelled edges make assembly a treat with minimal clean up after glueing. This is a really nice model! The one issue I had with this were the raised line markings on the deck that are about 0.5mm, scaled up, those lines would stand over a foot tall, not very good for a pilot taking off!! They had to be sanded off, but thats just me. A great model. Easy to assemble, minimal clean up, Great starter kit and for those who want a nice model without dedicating weeks to it. I would recommend this for sure

It took me to days to build and I injoyed it till the very last price was put in to place great detail work in plastic I do injoy building ships since I was a kid but on a larger scale

I haven't started it yet, but looked at instruction, and very clear to follow, parts are very well marked parts look very well made good for the price, recommend

A good little model fiddly in parts but to be expected over all satisfied

Very good kit and the pieces are very good fitting but the only think is the instructions are wrong and the spurs are wrong, spurs b and d are the same so you have to be very careful and really look at the picture and spurs but apart from this issue I am impressed with the quality of the kit that Is why I have given it 4 stars instead of 5

Même commentaire que pour ma commande précédente. La notice de montage fait état 24 décalcomanies notamment celle avec le nom du HMS mais aucune n'ai fournie dans l'emballage que je viens d'ouvrir.Il est donc impossible de réaliser le montage selon les pages 15 et 16 de la notice.Je désire savoir rapidement si ces décalcomanies me seront fournies rapidement ou si je dois refuser le colis.

Certes c'est une jolie maquette , mais je crois que les concepteurs on du confondre , car il y a des pièces qui ne se mettent nulle part , la notice n'est pas complète , et c'est la 3ème fois sur des maquettes différente et malgré ça chez REVELL ils s'en foutent un peu car ils ne répondent pasC'est lassant REVELL c'est fini
