Easy to use, quality camera
Bought this camera about 3 weeks ago.Things that are good about it:Quite thin, laid it down on the table, about the same depth as two standard cd albums on top of one another.Nice large clear screen giving nice sharp preview pictures.Fast shutter speed to take lots of photos continuously. Compared to my last camera, where I had to get people to hold a pose for about 10 secs, this is amazing. I bought a 80x Hi Speed SD card with it, so maybe that helps.Very easy to use. My mum who finds texting tricky(!), finds this a doddle. Doesn't have tons of useless features. Has a BS (best shot) button, which has preset settings on, from which you can chose to capture the best of your scene/object/etc. Haven't personally had to use it yet, as I just leave it on Auto mode.Looks smart.Long battery life.Very good quality photos. I'm not a professional photographer, but the photos are very clear, sharp and just brilliant. No real distortion when resizing. I take pictures on 6Mega pixels mode, and can take over 200 photos on this quality with the 512mb sd card i bought.Bad things:Quite a small on/off button. About the size of a grain of rice. Could get annoying if you have curvy fingers. Not really a bad thing, but the casing is what i would describe as "brushed" metal, so you may want to buy a case to go with it to stop it from getting scratched, and to also protect the massive screen.Have had no problems with it so far. Top camera!

Great, unless you're a photographer
Well, as with what's said with the other reviews, it is a great camera in terms of begin simple to use and producing good photos. However! I was quite dissapointed with the fact that there are no manual options. One cannot set their own apperture, shutter speed, or exposure, which proved to be a problem in several scenarios where the night shot option just isn't enough, or when the camera over-exposes images. What is great though is that it can cope with low light conditions much better than most other camera that are this size which is a useful feature, although just a bit too automatic for my taste!

Excellent Exilim Z-60..
First digital camera - superb. It's a little beauty. As all the other reviewers say, the screen is an excellent size - very needy when you're sight is like mine. Fits easily into my handbag (my small one!!) I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to all the different facilities ( down to my age) but my son is teaching me and has set it up in easy mode for me in the meantime. Would definitely recommend. HAPPY SNAPPING.

Honest
I don't like this camera. The battery life is utter rubbish, it only lasts for one day. I'm going to need to get another battery if i want to keep using it. The charger is awful as well, not user friendly at all. When the power is low the picture quality deteriorates. It is a reasonable size but all the good points are similar to other cameras. I would not buy this again and am thinking of selling it and getting something else. What a waste of money.

Disappointing
Bought 2 exilims for gifts, including this one. Both are expensive considering the poor quality of the photos. Consistently unsharp and grainy. I have a Canon compact and it is so much better. Remember that a high MP does not mean better photos if the lens is not good quality. Twice the price it should be, in my opinion.

Great Camera
I bought this camera like 3 weeks ago for a get away. It is a great camera, as it had lots of extra features, which I definitely utilised. The battery life was long-ish, but I managed to run the battery down in 24hrs.Slight problem with camera was that, I needed a tweezers to get the SD Card out, so I don't break the battery/S.D. card slot cover, but not really a great problem.I used a 1GB SD card and a 500MB SD card for the camera while I was away. It was great, I got more pictures than an art gallery due this camera and the battery life.I got a nice silver £1 digital camera case from Tesco, it fits nicely and it is solid. It is easy to use, plus an excellent value for the cash paid for this item.I had a Trust digital camera (922Z) and the sensor just went a month and a half ago for no reason. This EX-Z60 is a very good camera; I recommend it (In silver). The black or red looks like a toy in real life, you won't be taken seriously if is not silver. haha.

Excellent all-rounder!
Had my old camera for around 3 years and you could really tell that it was dated- was the size of a brick and only had 2 mega-pixels. So i decided that it was time to treat myself... started looking on the internet in a German lesson at school and came across the Casio Exilim Z-60, at first glances it looked a bit cheap and when I saw the price I was a bit doubtful to say the least. But I eventually plucked up the courage and ordered it. 2 weeks later it arrived at my front door- I eagerly opened the package and was not disappoined, the camera looked very smart and the screen was massive!Good points* Large, clear screen* Fast battery charging* Tv connection cable!* Fast image loading on PC* Very fast shutter* Slim and compact* Good selection of shots* Excellect quality in pics, video and voice recordingBad points* Does not come with a carry case and the ones that I have seen advertised for the camera are £23.99! When you see how small the camera is you will realise that this is a bit of a rip-off* The button to switch it on is very "loose" and when it is in your pocket it is easy to accidently turn it on. This is a problem because the lens comes out can be ruined.Very good camera... buy, buy, buy!

Super Kamera

Fazit:Z600 inkl. Dockingstation ist mein Tipp
