Huge !
My 80lb. dog loves this toy so far. It wore him out trying to carry it around and gnaw on it. It's huge!

Mostly Tuff until my maniacal Corgi got a hold of it
My corgi immediately fell in love with this sheep toy. I'd say he obsessed over it, and perhaps it is due to his herding instinct. Unfortunately, only 9 days passed before he had shredded the sheep. I do NOT blame the toy manufacturer for the demise of the sheep. My corgi loved this toy (too much).

Dogs not interested
My dogs aren’t overly interested in this toy as it has no features that keep their attention or piques their drive. There’s no squeakers or crinkle material to make them want to keep playing with it. One of them will chew on it for a few minutes to tear at the seams and get some stuffing out, and then he’s bored. This is the only reason the toy remains somewhat intact and why I gave 3 stars. If it kept my dogs’ attention, I have no doubt it would’ve been destroyed by now like all the other “tough” toys

Tuff, not indestructable...but who cares!?
This guy was definitely bigger than I realized, but still great for my 45lb shepherd. He had a tough time at first getting his mouth around it, but that made it better, as he had to use his brain a bit to carry it around. I've read a lot of reviews complaining about the Tuffy toys & them not lasting. They are plush. Dogs have teeth. Seriously, what do people expect? Sherman didn't even make it a night before one hoof was ripped open. But 75% of the reason my dog loves stuffed toys so much is to pull out the stuffing. Maybe other people's dogs eat stuffing, but this has never been an issue for me. Sherman is now pretty much flat. All of his innards have been ripped out...and hoooolllly cow were there a lot. Made it even that much more enjoyable for my dog. I don't get why people are taking it away the second this toy has a little rip. We still use him to play tug & my dog continues to chew/play with him despite him being completely destroyed. I'm about to purchase another Tuffy toy (and not planning on retiring Sherman yet) because of how much fun my dog enjoyed brutally killing this one. Expensive, yes. But a price I'm willing to pay a few times a year to see my dog so happy!

My dogs and I love these VIP Tuffy toys!
My little monsters can go through a supermarket stuffed animal in about three minutes flat. These Tuffy toys have a much better life expectancy than that! We have been through about a dozen different shaped Tuffy toys in the past few years and admittedly, some last longer than others. Sherman seemed to fall right about in the middle of the spectrum. I purchased Sherm on January 1 and he finally started bleeding white stuffing this week. Our smallest pup, Andy, took a liking to Sherm and he has been the toy of choice to drag around the house with him wherever he goes for the last few weeks. This probably helped lead to the lamb's early demise since Andy is our biggest chewer. Keep in mind that these Tuffy toys are not designed to be chew toys, and we supplement our kids' need to chew with rawhide treats which helps us extend the life of thier toys. That being said, they still take a heck of a lot of abuse and I am usually well pleased with the lifespan of a Tuffy toy. I also love the imaginative variety of colors and shapes available.***NOTE: Once a hole is chewed in a Tuffy toy and the stuffing is coming out we just remove the rest of the stuffing and let the kids have the emptied "skin." They still have lots of fun dragging around and playing tug of war with the remains.

Sheepdog loves her sheep!
My 5-month old Australian Shepherd puppy got this sheep for Christmas. She absolutely loves it! I think mostly because it's the biggest toy she owns, a little smaller than she was at the time! She loves this sheep and carries it around, chews on it, thrashes her head around until she's sure it's "dead". I love the sheep too, I think it's so cute, it even stands up on its own! My only issue with the sheep, is that it is not all that "tough". My dog is not all that tough a chewer, in fact most of her soft toys are left intact. But she was able to chew through the first layer or two of fabric on the body within the first few days and make some chunks in the ears, head, and feet. I'm not sure if it's because she loves this sheep so much, and thus chews on it harder than her other toys, or if it is just not as well made as they say it is. My only other pet peeve is I wish it had some squeakers, because she loves squeakers! All in all, I would buy this sheep again, but it isn't a toy that I would buy a bunch of them for her. At about $20 it's not the cheapest toy on the block (especially since she was able to chew through it)!

Good quality, but not very much fun
We got this for our Beardie about a year ago, and it's held up pretty well. The problem is, it's just not very fun. For starters, this toy has no squeakers at all. We've gotten a bunch of Tuffy's toys before (the elephant, a space alien, and various tug toys) and they've all had squeakers and were super fun. Even if the squeakers weren't very loud, they still drove our pup crazy when we played. But this doesn't have anything to get his attention. It's HUGE. Seriously, it's bigger than some chihuahuas. And that's good, in some ways; it makes it hard to lose, and it's never bad to have one very large toy. But this is so big that it's just no fun. My 45 pound dog can't carry it for very long because it keeps tripping him. When we play Tug or Puppy in the Middle, he can only really grab the feet. The rest of it's just too darn big, so he gets bored quickly and grabs a smaller toy.It really has held up well - no tears and it's easy to clean. Every now and then, our pup chews or nibbles on it, and he hasn't been able to tear off the ears or any of the seams. It's also super cute. But it's more of a statue than a toy. Go for another Tuffy's toy. It'll be more fun.

A tough toy, but doesn't last much longer
I was hoping this toy would last maybe a few months. My dog eventually got to the stuffing in one of the legs. I took the time to remove the stuffing in the remaining leg so that my dog could enjoy the toy for a longer time. My dog decided to continue with the same leg tearing it up to the main cavity. Im in limbo as to throw it away. Or to creativity figure out how to extent this tays life again. I have another Tuffy toy that seems to be holding out much longer. I do like the product but to order off amazon for the price. I dont think its worth it. This sheep cost me maybe $28 canadian. The tuffy gear toy was purchased in the US for i believe $10 USD. I'd rather search in the states for these deals then order through amazon

More durable than the average dog toy
Very reasonably priced compared to other dog toys. My dog plays with it a lot (and chews on it). The ears came off within the first hour but the fact that it is still intact is a big plus. It is definitely more durable than the average dog Thinking of you. Update several months later: Sherman the sheep (aka "Van Goat") is still intact and my dog continues to enjoy his company.

I was pretty disappointed with this product
I was pretty disappointed with this product. When i received it the squeaker didn't work. I was impressed with how tough it felt however I wouldn't consider my dog destructive to toys compared to others…. but he managed to chew the leg off this sheep within one night. Guess he found the weak spot pretty fast.I was pretty upset that for the price though it didn't come fully functional. Probably won't buy a product from them again. I've found much cheaper toys for better quality.

Not that tuff
Bought these tuffy toys for our 1 year old English bulldog. Whilst they look great, unfortunately they are not that tuff. This one lasted all of 1 week. We are now going with non-stuffed toys.
