We have water with lots of iron ore and sulfur smell! These filters worked good to help that. Of course not as well as a salt type filter but for a cartridge filter it worked very well. We have been using these type of filters for years and recently had to get a new one so choose this one. Very happy with it.

Well I guess I read the description wrong. It's Whirlpool compatible, not a Whirlpool filter. I go through these a lot faster than the Whirlpool brand. It is grooved, as stated, but not very deeply grooved like the Whirlpool. So I guess it doesn't catch as much and I need to replace more often.

We replaced the old filter in our crawl space which was larger. This is a new model which holds a little less water but now serves our entire system, even out to the barn. We do notice a slight difference in pressure-the water is pushed out to the barn and can cause a momentary lapse in pressure in the shower if I turn on water in the barn. But we love the ease of changing the filter in the pump house instead of the crawl space, and the filters are holding up just fine. The filters last about three months. I am happy with them and with the system.

Works ok. Seems to do the job as a main line Filter on our well water. In hind sight, I should have gone with 20 inch filter system rather than this 10 inch and used two units in a row. For most city systems you would want a carbon filter in addition to this sediments unit. We will install a softener this spring and I will go with the 20inch units at that time. If you use a 10 inch filter, these do catch a lot of line trash.

I bought these because it said it was a Whirpool replacement. Not even close. Whirlpool would last 3 to 6 months in my system, these 3 weeks to 1 month max. Not going to buy these anymore.

These work just like the ones we were purchasing at Lowe's for a fraction of the price. We've always changed our filters every 30 - 45 days. Catches a lot of sediments, to where I'm scrubbing the water filter container for a good ten minutes after each filter change. (Helps having an extra water filter container, makes the process hassle-free!)Great product and company.

A heck of a lot more affordable than the oem filters. I did notice a slight pressure drop when they get dirty. This happened much faster with these than the oem filter. The price however makes it a good deal, I just change them every 60 days and still save money.

I have placed 4 orders for these filters. All have been filled correctly and delivered on time. The cost is extremely good for this product.
