Wolves (Usborne Beginners)

This is a book in the Usborne Beginners Science series, following the formula of 30 pages of text, illustrations, and lots of real photos. Subtopics include fur description, pack life, habitats, senses, hunting, eating meat, using their paws, wolf pups, lone wolves, communication, etc. This book is good for a beginning reader in lower elementary to read themselves, or a first grader to look through for fun, and younger children including preschoolers would enjoy being read to. With 4 -5 pictures on each spread and 7 -10 sentences, these books pack in a lot of entertaining science.

My 7 year old daughter loves these Usborne books and has quite a few from the collection which are advertised in the book. Volcanoes, China, Dinosaurs, Dogs etc'. Really good informative books with lots of facts and pictures for her to dip in and out of. Versatile book which I would recommend from age 3 upwards. Don't be put off by the title range 'Usborne beginners'. My daughter is an excellent reader and is not bored by these books nor thinks they are too young for her. You can't really go wrong with Usborne kids books.

This is a really lovely book. It has good pictures and links to the internet. It was a good price and it is very factual and informative. My four year old grandson loves it.

kids loved it, as any other book from this Usborne beginners collection.It has nice photos and information to feed the little curious minds:)

I know its a childrens book but i expected it to be for a bit older children

I chose this rating because I think that this book is wonderful and the pictures and the way that it is written is great I shall be getting more from this series.Thank you
