A Lot of Great Tunes to Keep You Boppin' and Poppin'
Again The Specials are a really great example of a noteworthy SKA band from the 70's/80's punk/new wave era. Like their first deluxe version, this too, has a lot of great tunes to keep you boppin' and poppin'. This time for this set, we have the first disc as the Original album all beautifully remastered and disc two has the bonus tracks which are a few singles and BBC Sessions and a couple singles tunes in extened versions. Again, I am not going to type out the track listing as Amazon has already done so. My favourite tuns from this album on disc one are Man at C & A and International Jet Set and possibly Hey, Little Rich Girl. Hearing them again with a new remastering is like wow. The band sounds as if they are right there with you playing live. On disc two the full length 12" versions of Ghost Town and Why? from that single as well as Friday Night and Saturday Morning wich never changed from the 7". There are also three BBC Sessions Stereotypes Parts One and Two, Sea Cruise and You're Wondering Now. Then the remaining tracks are remastered 7" single tunes. Please don't delay with getting this one!

An insane set of extras that are almost better than the actual Lp. Snapshot of the times...

"Do I Need It? What's So SPECIAL About the 2015 Special Edition Remasters.....?"
Are you a fan of THE SPECIALS and have quite a few of their releases? If so, do you really need these 2015 2CD Special Editions of MORE SPECIALS, IN THE STUDIO and their debut album ? First off, before I can give you an accurate review, I need to list the tracks, which Amazon in their infinite wisdom have left off......- Disc 1 -1. Enjoy Yourself (It's Later Than You Think)2. Man At C&A3. Hey, Little Rich Girl4. Do Nothing5. Pearl's Café6. Sock It To 'Em J.B.7. Stereotypes/Stereotypes - Pt. 28. Holiday Fortnight9. I Can't Stand It10. International Jet Set11. Enjoy Yourself (Reprise)- Disc 2 -1. Rat Race*/#2. Rude Buoys Outa Jail*/#3. Stereotypes PTS.1 & 2 (John Peel BBC Radio 1 Session)**4. International Jet Set (Single Version)*/#5. Rude Boys Outa Jail (Single Version credited to Neville Staples Aka Judge Roughneck)***/#6. Do Nothing (Single Version credited to The Specials Featuring Rico with the Ice Rink String Sounds)*/#7. Maggie's Farm***/#8. Raquel***/#9. Why? (Extended Version)*/#10. Friday Night, Saturday Morning*/#11. Ghost Town (Full Version)*/#12. Sea Cruise (John Peel BBC Radio 1 Session credited to The Specials Featuring Rico)**13. You're Wondering Now (Kid Jensen BBC Radio 1 Session)*** Best Of The Specials (CD + DVD Version )** BBC Sessions *** The 2 Tone Collection: A Checkered Past # Stereo-Typical: A's & B's & Rarities There's not much more I can say about the musical content that hasn't been said by other reviewers. It's one of my favorite albums. Upon release it shocked fans and the music press because of the left-field and sophisticated compositions, but over the years fan and critical opinion is generally favourable. As you can see, all of this material has been reissued before. The album itself was remastered in 2002 and contained the "Ghost Town" and "Rat Race" videos as Enhanced content. If you're a fan and have a version of MORE SPECIALS, the BBC Sessions and the Stereo-typical" collection, you have everything here. Fans and collectors will have to decide, but if you don't own this classic, get it now! Shop around or be patient, the price is already coming down. Unlike some "expanded" albums, the extra material here is fantastic, not filler. Don't be a "Do Nothing" buy it now and "Enjoy Yourself"......

What can I say, bought for "Ghost Town" because it is, during this Corona Virus Outbreak.
Liked on time delivery, Coventry based anti facist band plagued by NF troublemakers who despite it all managed to still keep their heads and sing brilliant songs with meaningful lyrics.
