Definitely better than metal and emery board nail files!

I had just read the notice in my old Gladzy nail file box that warned glass could break. Since I never use the file for anything other than its purpose, I ignored it. For some reason I put the file in my pocket and forgot about it. I remembered when I was leaning against my back door railing and heard a snap. The old file broke cleanly in two. I did not hesitate to order another one, since it is the best file I've ever used.

Bought this to replace another Czech glass nail file which fell on the tile floor and broke. This is even better quality than that one. It has a fine grit side as well as a bit rougher side (just a little less fine grit). It does a super job filing my nails and smoothing the rough edges. Very pleased with the quality and lavendar color of this file. You won't be disappointed if you buy it!

This file remains the finest performing tool ever. Quick, accurate and effective!! Makes nail maintenance a simple task! Has the appropriate cutting quality needed to quickly give the finishes superb finish!

Use gently and file in one direction only. It does a very good job smoothing and shaping.

I normally really like the Czech Republic glass files. But not this one. This file is smooth on one side and the other side feels like you’re filing with sandpaper. The glass on this file is also thick. I file my nails down and the thick glass is harder to do this with. I prefer the thin glass and both sides to be smooth

After having tried several other brands, I am gobsmacked at how good this product is. I bought one authentic Czech-made glass file, but it wore out after about a year . . . which means it lasted about 9 months longer than diamond files. Then I bought some knock-off fake versions that didn't even work out of the box. So I purchased this one, even though it is more expensive than the rest.I could tell immediately that this one was the best of all of them. The two grits are great, although even the finer one is coarse enough to shape nails, if you take the time. l don't know how long this one will last, but it has to be longer than the others.One thing to mention is that the decorations on the handles are not glass themselves, but thick plastic adhesive stickers. They look fine and are slightly tacky to the touch, which is helpful. Also, mine were applied very carefully, so they aren't sloppy-looking. If you wish, you could take them off and have a normal-looking Czech file.While this comes in a felt bag--mine is a dark blue--the file fits perfectly in one of those plastic cases the cheap files come in, so you could use one of those if you wanted to.If this file lasts as it is supposed to, I might by another in 5 or 10 years.

This nail file arrived quickly. It is well made and files nice and smooth.

This is not etched glass but is more like sand glued to the glass. Not as good as the etched glass but works well enough. One side is more rough than the other.

Habe schon einige Glasfeilen. Diese sind die besten. Feine Feilung. Dauerhaft.
