I used the fishing rod/ reel only a couple weeks ago and it is excellent quality / robust . I honestly can’t fault the rod and reel . I caught two cod and a decent size . Quality kit .

Well happy with this budget rod and reel. The rod is very light and comfortably casts big baits and leads.The reel feels very sturdy and solid. I have only used it for one session so far. But casting and retrieving was good. For this money you can't have any complaints. If you are the type of person that expects everything for nothing, spend some more money and stop being tight.

Bought last year and used once, thought it was great from first impression. Rod is decent for the money. Cleaned it off after one use and dried it off, then put back in box. I’ve just gone to get it out for the same annual family holiday and the reel is completely knackered. Took it apart and every baring has completely rusted out. Disappointing as advertised as ‘Corrosion Proof Anodised Components’.I appreciate its budget and low value and im no pro; but I thought I would get a second use out of it after taking care of it after one use.Gutted really.

Haven't used it yet but first impressions are really good so I ordered second one. Only downside was royal mail but seller communication is 5 star.

Really pleased with this rod/reel combo, looking forward to getting it out on the beach. Thanks guys.
