Freddie King is possibly the most influential guitar player in history. He paved the way for guitarists like Eric Clapton, Peter Green, and Jimmy Page, who paved the way for generations to come.This dvd is a must buy for anyone that likes music, you get to see the King do what he does best, playing the blues the way it should be done. With his ferocious guitar playing and thunderous vocals you cant help but get caught in the emotion of every song. You can clearly see the emotion and feeling he puts into every guitar lick and every word he sings. Absolutely Amazing!!!!!

This DVD has a combination of tracks from an open-air concert at an enormodrome, with surprisingly good sound and an excellent backing band, and from a TV special with rather muffled sound. Never mind - King is on good form in both cases, smiting the Gibson 335 to great effect with his trademark thumb and index-finger picks and in good voice, too. You are 35 years too late to catch this legendary bluesman live, so this DVD is probably the next best thing.

What else can I say about this dvd other than BUY IT! A true blues giant with a hurricane-like voice to match, making sweet love to his guitar!!!

Great presence with one of the best blues voices ever and those fiery guitar licks. The picture quality on bonus tracks us poor but the performancss and gtr solos are amazing!

Simple. If you are a Freddie King fan or are looking to increase your blues repertoire you have to have this.

Because we were friends, and I no longer had this DVD, I ordered it, so that I could remember the great times back in the day. Thank you for being so prompt and for such a great DVD!

enregistrement d'époque, son et image de bonne qualité tout de même. Freddie King apparaît en pleine forme et distille un blues classique puissant. Freddie est un maître dont une quantité de jeunes guitaristes européens vont s'inspirer. Ce concert, devant une foule incroyable pour un bluesman, est un document de la meilleure veine. A ne pas manquer pour tout amateur du genre.
