Fully functional pottery wheel. The wheel is a bit wobbly but doesn't interfere with use. The on switch has 2 speeds low and high. Clay supplied worked great. Dried overnight and ready for paint. Make sure you push down on clay to secure to the wheel or it will slide off. Also lay down news paper or work out side. It was fun for my 8 year old. I enjoyed it too.

It’s okay and it is possible to create stuff with this. However, it is definitely very sensitive to pressure so hands cannot press the spinner at all. Meaning, you hold the clay with hands in the air. I also dislike having to buy batteries. Wish it came with an adapter.

Got this for my 8 year old son to try out and it kept him busy for hours! He now realizes how hard pottery is and has a special appreciation for our hand made cups and bowls. This was a great starter kit with everything you need and the kids enjoyed it very much. Tip... it did get a bit messy so i made sure to cover the area with some newspaper/ads underneath the pottery wheel. Also, we had the kids play with it in the back yard. Great toy to teach the kids patience!!

Considering it’s a small battery operated wheel it’s pretty good! Really fun for my daughter!

Fun product! My 2-year-old had a great time making pottery for the first time. He was very engaged and happy. I love the fact that it comes with paint in many colors. He learned about pottery making and painting at the same time!

The clay was fun but we were so disappointed that the wheel was too weak to really make it worthwhile.
