After my wife got tired of having me steal her tweezers, decided I should probably get my own. Off to Amazon I went, and I found this set, which is exactly what I was looking for: an inexpensive, well-made set of tweezers to add to my art box.As an artist, I'm often attempting to be as precise as possible with my compositions, however adhesives and small components can make life fairly difficult. This set has everything I need to get the job done easily and precisely. In all honesty, this set is more than I need, but I'm glad to have the variety. I most often use the offset pair or the short pair, however these are the ones that work best for my specific needs. I can see how the other three would be more applicable to other tasks. While there may be a bit of redundancy between the models, for the price, I'd honestly be happy with even one pair in the set.Overall, You can't beat the price. They're well built, inexpensive, and work for exactly what I wanted them for.Please note: I'm not sure why this is rated as a toy. I can see how it could be used for model building, etc, however I don't believe the criteria of "fun" and/or "educational" are particularly applicable. Regardless, I feel that the item deserves a five star review, so I've rated them as five stars in all categories, as I could see how these would assist with fun and/or educational activities.

I purchased these tweezers to help with modeling- holding tiny tiny parts, glueing, decals, etc. They work well and do the job! I also use them for picture framing, which is my small business. Some of the tips had some flashing on them (extra metal on the edges) that needed to be removed for the tips to contact each other properly. This wasn't a big deal. I removed it with a utility blade and sanded the rest for a flat surface. Assuming you are a hobbyist, you will neither be surprised nor helpless when you encounter this problem. I'd buy them again. Amazing value.

The tweezers work very well and are perfect for pinning butterflies, and moths. They come in neat packaging and are good tools to have around

I have an official foreign body kit that I purchased while in Optometry school but our clinic has several exam rooms and I like to keep a separate FB kit in each room so I don't have to worry about keeping track of which room I left it in last. I've done some epilation, meibomian gland probing, and punctal plug insertion with this kit and they work perfect, just as well as the really expensive set that all these reps try to sell us.

Made in India, comes in a plastic kit bag with slots for each. They line up ok, but have been tweaked to do so....either side of the tweezers are not symmetrical, lets say, but they seem to meet up ok. Not the best, not the worst. Finish is of MUCH better quality than in the image in the ad, they should change it

My first reaction was that this is a handy set of tweezers to have around when I work on models. But a little while ago, one tip of the sharp point tweezers bent inwards so much that the tip was directed towards the other tip, instead of parallel to it. I bent it back with small needle-nose pliers. I'm surprised at how easily it bent. Further bending and straightening will, sooner or later, break off the tip. The description says "stainless steel". I have my doubts. As usual, you get what you pay for.

Got these specifically to use when tagging butterflies. Nice variety of tweezers. Experiemented with what worked best for our purpose, and happy with them. These are exactly what they state: good for hobbies.

These are not highly polished stainless steel, but that doesn't matter to me. They ARE stainless steel, with a satin finish. What IS important to me is that the tips meet very precisely. And that means they will do the jobs I want them to do. Good precision tips at a steal of a deal! Pun intended, but it's true. And I must add that I paid the full price for them and am not associated in any way with the manufacturer or vendor. Buy these. You'll be impressed.

A little seration is required for stamp collectors ( for one or two ) . Used for stamp handling .
