This was a great first book as an introduction to the Charlotte Mason world. Charlotte’s books are a little tougher for me to read, so i appreciated this a lot!

A really helpful summary of the Charlotte Mason approach and how it applies in the early years. Having read some of Masons’s volumes and listened to various podcasts I was beginning to feel overwhelmed at just how much there is to understand and do. This was such a freeing book, helpfully bringing in current education and parenting research in applying the key principles of the philosophy. I also feel like I have a clearer understanding of how to put it into practice immediately, and that I CAN do habit training!
