Plastic fluctuates size in cold temps
Missed a herd bull elk at 40yrds! I practiced with these nocks for weeks before my elk hunt and they worked flawlessly, UNTILL!!!! I shot at a bull elk at 40yrds in New Mexico around 7am. As it turns out these things shrink in the cold. The nock pulled out of my arrow and stayed on the string as my arrow went literally tumbling down range. I check my other arrows in the quiver and they were all loose! It was around 35 degrees that morning. After throwing my fit I walked back to the truck by then it was almost noon, and almost 60 degrees, I rechecked my nocks and they were all snug. The plastic on these shrink and swell with the temp. I will never use them again!!!

Decent nock for the price
I've been experimenting with lighted nocks on some heavy weight arrows that I recently built. These nocks provide a decent alternative to the pricey name brand nocks. A few observations. 1. The pin that activates the light is slightly too long, you have to be very careful putting them on the string or you can accidentally turn them on. 2. They take a little practice on how to turn off. 3. They may not fit super tight. I used a plastic bag to tighten the fit and then as with all lighted nocks I secure them with a wrap of electrical tape or shrink tubing. If I could figure out an easy way to shorten the activation pin, these would be a near perfect solution. I will continue to buy these and work with them. These are not target nocks! I only use them on my hunting arrows and I only set them up, test for a dozen or more shots, then into the quiver for hunting.

Good purchase
I purchased these for my Black Eagle Spartan arrows after ordering the incorrect size from a more expensive brand. They fit the arrow well. I had to add some paper to tighten up a couple of nocks but for the most part good fit. I give it 4 stars because of this issue: the light turning on when nocking the arrow on my string. I was able to take sandpaper and sand the inside of the nock enough so that I can slip it on the string without activating the light and still have a snug fit. I tested 1 nock by turning the light on to see how long the battery would last and it went past 48 hours being lit and was still bright even at 48 hours. Overall satisfied with the purchase. Even if I get 1 animal and have to replace the nock it was worth it.

Be aware that they are very sensitive.
Like so many others have written, u can't snap these on your bow string very easily without them turning on.Good fit for my Easton Axis arrows, but the switch is way too touchy. I'm in a stand during the peak of the Wisconsin rut as I'm writing this review and figured I'd try one of my backup arrows with this nock. It took me almost 2 dozen tries before I got it on my string without lighting up. I will not buy these again.Update - After putting the nock on my bow string a bunch of times, I am now able to get my arrow nocked a little easier without lighting up so I'm updating to 2 stars for now. Not sure if they have a "break in" period or not that helps with the problem, but I wanted to give them a little more credit then a 1 star rating. I haven't tried my other 5 arrows with these nocks to see if I have the same results, but will update my review if needed.

Important Read
Update: the more I shot these the less they turned on when knocking the arrow. The knocks broke on two pass through on whitetails but remained lit. Easy to find. Was able to remove with pliers. Would consider using again next season. Updated to 3 stars.Purchased there for my 5mm Easton FMJ arrows. Arrived quick but there are some issues.First, the nocks were pretty loose in the shaft, they would have easily popped out when not. I read up online for tips to rectify this without gluing and got them in snug enough to feel confident.THE BIGGEST PROBLEM. The nocks light up as soon as I nock them on the string. no matter how I adjusted the inside of the nock they would like up when placed on the string. Not helpful when you're trying to be discrete in the field for a hunt.I got the green ones. They are certainly bright. If I could figure out a way to stop them from lighting immediately I am sure they would prove to be worth the purchase.

Long lasting.
We’ve bought several packs of these. So far we have not had any which were dead out of the box. We have had two or three which died after only a few hours. But when they last, they last! First day out with these my husband misses a target on the 3D course which means the arrow is hitting a brick wall. Arrow is destroyed and the nock was actually pushed inside the arrow. We kept the arrow around to see how long the nock would stay lite for. The nock stayed lite for two weeks. Saturday August 8th is when the arrow hit the brick, the nock did not die until Saturday August 22. Two weeks straight of being lite 24 hours a day. All the nocks may not last for that long but I will be pleased with even half that time.

Fit 5mm x nock arrows perfectly
I would love to give these a 5 star review because theyre a great cheap alternative to the nocturnal. These .204s do in fact fit the easton 5mm arrows very well and the linear switch works well on them. Thw reason for the 4 stars is that only 4 our of 6 lights worked out of the package. Hope this review helps.

Does NOT fit arrows with a 0.204 ID, KAOS KINETIC.
I gave it a three because I did not even get a chance to try it other than stick the knock on my bow string and pull it off see if the light came on like a lot of the reviews claimed it did, the light did not come on. The picture and description is very deceiving it says 5.3mm 0.204 inner diameter but it will NOT fit into .204 ID arrow because there’s another little plastic piece about 3/4 of an inch long and this must be the 5.3 mm . So your inner diameter needs to be 5.3 before it will slide all the way in to be flush with a the arrow and you will have one inch of the 0.204 that will be lose in the arrow. Makes no since to me why they made them like this unless I’m missing something.
