Q: Is this one antenna or 2? The pictures are a little misleading

it is 2 antenna, you will need a router that has two antenna ports

Q: What type are the connectors on the ends of the cables? I need to go through a wall, and would like to screw the connector onto a wall plate.

Antennas have female (refers to inside conductor) “N” connectors. RG58 30’ cables, male/male, also “N” connectors. Comes with both SMA and TS9 adapters to mate to your equipment such an LTE router with SMA antenna inputs or WiFi with removable antennas. HTH

Q: What is the spacing distance supposed to be between the antennas?

They don't say what distance they should be mounted but there are a few videos on you tube. My antennas are place about a foot apart and seems to be working fine for about 6 months without any problems. I simply looked at the videos and saw what distance they had theirs installed.
