I was looking for something to add a touch of warm brownish whites to my daughters' bathroom, and this is every last bit as beautiful as I'd hoped. I'm sure it's very fragile, as a shell, but it's lovely, big, well balanced, and flat. Really classy. Would buy more decor from this set without hesitating.

This is very attractive trinket holder, to hold keys or jewelry, etc. I placed this in a guest bedroom on a night table with a white decorative tablecloth that I don't want snagged. I don't know about the durability because it just arrived and has not been used yet. I think that whatever items are placed on this, should be placed gently, which common sense should tell a person. It is nice!
