The adapter didn’t match the 50amp outlet on my Fifth Wheel. Returned the item and was charged almost 40 (forty) percent restocking fee. Outrageous.

Does what it say it should
It works really well to connect my camper 30AMP outlet to 15AMP 120v extension cord to run my heater and ac at home in the driveway. It will also allow me to run the microwave and fridge too.

Practical
This is a must have for boaters I purchased this 50 to 30 amp shore power because I often get put in a slip that has 50 amp power only so this is very practical to have aboard!

a great electrical adapter
hello, this male 30 amp plug to the 15 amp single adapter allows you to use any marine electrical shore power pigtail adapter for your everyday power tools. the fit and finish of this marinco adapter is outstanding. marinco makes quality shorepower cords and adapters. this adapter allows you to hook up your regular 30 amp three prong shore power cord for an always on situation. you will need a L5-30 Male to (2) L5-30 Female Y Adapter (7732) whether is is from marinco or from high tide cords to get the additional female 30 amp outlet. then, this adapter will give you more options for everyday use from one 30 amp shore power outlet. but, the additional female 2 prong allows you to convert the 30 amp to a regular two prong 15 amp outlet for your everyday electrical needs: power tools, lights, etc. a neat way to always allow your 30 amp shore power cord to be continuously hooked up and powered, while allowing power tools to be used in the same outlet. a neat solution.

Pricey but required at dock
These are always a bit pricey for a power converter but they are needed at the dock and harbor so it does the trick

Great product Marinco didn’t disappoint as expected
Did not get hot at all works great for running an extension cord to plug in at marinas we used it for running a small heater and charging phones etc came in a nice clear plastic case that it can be stored in couldn’t be happier it also has a small light to know when it gets power.

This is a handy adapter for your boat. Allows you to plug into a regular 110-120 v 15 amp plug and connect to your boat’s shore power receptacle. Handy when the boat is on its trailer on the hard in winter for maintaining batteries.
