A little more tension goes a long way!
I got these to replace the 10's that were on my Banjo. The 10's were far too slack for me and being a low tension instrument I have found that it's hard to 'dig in' cos they move a lot on the fretboard & feel too light under the picking hand.However... these 11's give just that bit more tension to resolve these issues (for me) and it sounds so much better for it. Totally recommend this gauge if you switch between playing guitar & banjo & don't want to have to adjust your feel too much.

The strings are long so pretty sure they would fit a long neck banjo.Bought a set but only replaced one string, I will replace the rest

Warm sounding light strings
Lovely warm tone. Nothing snapped. The B string took a long time to settle and stay in tune but after a few hours of playing and re tuning it is fine

Beautiful clear, mellow tone.
I always use D'Addario strings for my banjos, usually the nickel ones. Bought these for a change and I'm so pleased with them. They are easy on my fingers and give a lovely, clear mellow sound. Delivery was fast too. Would definitely recommend.

Best Five pounds ive spent in ages. I hadn't changed my strings in a few months and i play most days. These strings sound so bright and vibrant. It makes playing a joy

Just what I expected.

B string came defected
B string arrived bent in two places so of course the second I started tuning it it snapped immediately. I'm not able to use my banjo until I get more strings, I'm extremely angry about this.
