TilleyEndurables T5 Cotton Duck Hat- Khaki w/Olive Underbrim, 7

I got mine in olive & the color is exactly as pictured. My head measures 23 1/2". According to the chart, that should be size7 1/2. It fits me VERY comfortable. Not snug, not loose. The brim width is exactly what I wanted. Provides enough shade for face & neck. Any wider & the wind here in the desert would be grabbing it too easy. (Built in straps will keep it on when it kicks up stronger) The hat/brim proportion & shape give it a very "Indiana Jones-ish" style. It's taken me 20 years to finally spend the money for a Tilley hat, But I'm glad I did. It was shipped flat in the usual foam type envelope , but all I did was push the hat into shape once & it's completely perfect.

Ordered a 7-3/8 because I have a 7 1/2 that's a little big. This hat was bigger by a mile. Also something seemed way off about it. The tag was different than the rest of my tilley hats. So I returned it.

This is my third Tilley hat and my favorite. Looks great on and travels well. I washed it warm in my washing machine then tumble dried it for a few minutes, shaped it to finish drying. It came out perfect. No shrinkage at all. Love the shade I get while playing pickleball or just going for a walk.

Attractive. Size is a bit off. Comes with a strap that I found uncomfortable and removed it.

Follow the Tilley sizing chart for the proper fit which is about a size larger than a normal hat. Hat will feel loose, but it shrinks after washing. It can be stretched back out to a custom fits after it dries. Put the hat over your knee and pull to stretch to your liking.

This is my second Tilley hat, which I got for gardening. I've had my other one for quite a few years and it's as good as the day I got it. They are definitely hard wearing and live up to their reputation; well worth the money.

This is the third Tilly hat i have bought and it fits like a glove, we do a lot of walking and this is the best hat for the job.
