ASURION4 Year Housewares Protection Plan ($450 - $499.99)

Bought this to go with a fairly expensive window ac unit. 3 months after the manufacturer warranty expired, surprise, the unit stopped working. I made a claim and 48 hours later I got reimbursed.

The claim was about portable air conditioner that stopped working. It took almost three weeks to resolve the problem but I am glad that I purchased the insurance - that was the right decision.

I bought a portable AC last summer, and of course it stopped cooling a few days after the manufacturers warranty ended. Within 24hrs of filing the claim, Asurion sent me an Amazon gift card for the full replacement price to buy a new AC.

Filing a claim was easy, and Asurion followed through on their commitment.

The compressor is super loud. .it doesn’t cool the room to a cool temp the compressor comes on and makes a loud bang and the remote doesn’t light up to see temp

I had a portable ac unit start to malfunction with the dehumidifier after 2 years of having it and got a full refund when they couldn’t send someone out to repair it. I bought the 4 year Asurion insurance and honestly I’m going keep getting it for future purchases.

I had heard some poor review but I obtained this warranty anyway. Amazingly enough it worked very well.

Whenever I read bad reviews on a product I really want, I buy this insurance policy. They have an online system where you just write down the issue, they investigate, then issue a refund. I’ve purchased the policy quite a few times on different products but only had two requests; they were both easy going. My sister hasn’t had luck with insurance policies. Personally, I’ll keep purchasing them on questionable products.
