HeyeHY29908 Jigsaw Puzzle

Absolutely beautiful puzzle ! Very well crafted.

I don't mind a challenge but, from the beginning, this puzzle was just too difficult to work. While it's a beautiful puzzle, the puzzle shapes are so similar that a piece appears to fit (even when turning over to check back).There are many areas of the puzzle that are dark so it became frustrating not to be able to use the picture on the box to determine where to fit the piece.I've never given up on a puzzle, but this one got the best of me :)

I bought this puzzle b/c it was pretty and this company, in general, is well liked. However, I will be very careful in the future when I purchase from this company because this puzzle is extremely difficult. It’s difficult because the puzzle is very dark in many areas and because the shape of the pieces are too similar. Also many pieces don’t have a picture to match them up, you have to use the color scheme and shape of the piece. Lastly, this puzzle has a crazy glare. So when pieces fit together but don’t go together, are very dark or have similar color scheme and you must rely on piece shape to match them up you end up moving pieces around constantly trying to figure out what actually goes together. The glare is the last straw because my husband and I (58 & 37 respectively) have to move our heads around at all angles trying to see the detail on the pieces which ends up being very important because sometimes that one yellow dot among the red piece tells you your on the right or wrong track. We are only trying to finish it b/c we paid full price for it.Edit: We just finished the puzzle! We have taken significant brakes while working on this puzzle b/c it’s just that frustrating. I stick with my original review. Pieces are too similar in shape, the glare is horrific and overall it’s a very dark puzzle. It’s beautiful finished and we plan to frame it. After all the trouble at least we get a pretty picture.

I love this puzzle, but I’m so frustrated! I’ve done lots of 1000 pc. puzzles, but I could not do this one. I found the pieces are so similar in shape and color that all the pieces seemed to match numerous other pieces! The pieces did not interlock well and I had to hold up every match to see look for gaps. After 8 days of putting together the edges over and over, I put it up. I’d get the edges together, have two pieces left, and neither one fit in the remaining spaces. This happened 5 times. Never had this happen before, and I’m baffled as to how to actually complete it. I had every intention of framing this puzzle as art, and it was more expensive than I usually spend. I wonder if I’ll ever be able to put it together. Note - I also bought another puzzle in this same series, and had to put it away, for the same reason.
