This brace might be fine for a right hand, but it's also supposed to be for a left hand. When I placed it on my left hand, the mets brace that is supposed to go over your palm is far to the right making it pretty uncomfortable...this could probably be remedied if they made the thumb hole more to the left...I needed it now, so I cut a slit in the thumb hole so that it could be adjusted. It seems pretty well made, but not if your problem is on the left hand. I give this product a 4
