Redi Niche Double Niche Recessed Shower Shelf- Black, Two Inner Shelves, 16-Inch Width x 40-Inch Height x 4-Inch Depth

I like to install two side by side with a "sill" below to make a really generous and attractive niche for a 36" shower, or to install one over the other, one high on a shower wall and really for a decorative item that can be wet - the other for the during-shower shampoo, soap, etc. I've also gotten a larger rectangular one for a decorative display place for a resin figurine... these are fun, waterproof, and easily tiled. I like thin tile or "fiberglass stone" sheets to line the niche so as to have more room for the fun stuff. But the tile used in the rest of the shower looks good too.

One was broken check box right away

Very large. Too large, in my opinion. THese are so large that they leave about 6" of space above the tallest of my economy size pump shampoos. We ended up fabricating a shelf into them (out of plastic fence rail!) and that made the spaces much more usable. They are easy to install and installing tile onto them is pretty straightforward- though an arduous process. Much easier than framing in and installing wonderboard for a custom niche.

Shelves looked good. Returned due to being to big for our bathroom.
