This is my favorite chin strap for use with my CPAP. It is soft and comfortable, holds my chin up, and does not have any annoying Velcro to dig into my scalp. What I do not like is that it loses its elasticity with washing. I just keep buying new ones, which are kind of pricey. I have used all sorts of chin straps with varying satisfaction. Most of the others have Velcro fasteners that are slightly exposed and dig into the scalp over the course of the night. Very annoying to me, so I have to place a pad between the Velcro joint and my scalp.

Because of ongoing back issues and nerve damage, I am only able to sleep on my back. That means my mouth hangs open all night and I snore. I began having horrible pain in my jaw (TMJ) and could hardly open my mouth to bite into a sandwich. This strap was the answer; however, the material that holds your chin is very rough and I have to put a piece of soft fabric inside before wearing. The ear holes are worthless and don't line up with my ears at all. The Velcro straps grab everything and even tangles your hair. If you can't wear the strap with the ends hooked where the Velcro lines up, the hooked side is exposed. Lastly, it doesn't stay on my head. no matter how tight, it slips forward or backward. Luckily I wake up several times during the night and put it back where it belongs. I think the straps need to be designed similar to the CPAP head gear to stay in place effectively. If the Velcro was flip-flopped, the exposed area would be the soft edge versus the hooks edge and wouldn't get caught in everything.

Alas, my "big head," was just too big for this product to fit and returned it. I was sorry to not be able to use it, as the construction was very good, attention to sewing detail was excellent. Material is thick and strong, attested that I did not tear it trying to get it on my basketball head. I just needed a larger size. The three star, was if I had been able to get it on, it would have been too tight to live with, and not really the fault of the company, they have to design for the median not some niche super size. If, the company decides to make a larger size, I will be first in line to buy one. If, you have a more normal sized head, I think this product will be a winner for you.

I found these to be too small for my head, the earholes didn't line up right and it seems useless for me. I do have a bollum head, though. Like an eel monkey. Not like a bobble head, but I did have to buy hats in XL back when I wore them. You might be able to use these better if you have a little peasy head, or maybe a normal one.

I actually purchased this to use with silicone patches on my jawline. I had bad cystic acne and purchased some silicone patches but they barely stayed on for more than a few hours. I recently used this with the patches and my keloids have gone down significantly. The patches actually stick because it wraps tightly around your jaw up to the top of your head.. I think I will purchase another one so that I can have one to use while I wash the other.

I've been in a sleep apnea battle for about 4 years. I've tried so many different things.. anyway.. I've learned to breathe with my mouth shut in daily life... but the second i lie down on my pillow , with my mouth shut I feel like I'm suffocating! So I tried this and well.. doesn't work for me. i've been to all kinds of Docs, read all kinds of books, diets, etc.. SHRUG !

I really like this product. Does its job and has dual adjustments, NICE! I wear a beanie cap with it at night for added comfort and snugness. It gets itchy when worn too often without washing the chin "strap." A few squirts of rubbing alcohol solves the problem for a few days but will need to be washed at least biweekly. Well worth the price for the expected results: no snoring

Maybe I have a small head although that has never been a thing for me. But this strap has stretched so much that I can no longer get it tight enough to keep my mouth closed. I really did not expect it to stretch. But it is. It is also not real comfortable because the slots don't line up with my ears.
