Great Cooler, Great Price
I decided on the K2 due to price and reviews. I have not been disappointed. On my first use the soda and bottled water that I put in it were room temp and I used ice from my freezer (not much) vs a 10lb bag. At the end of a 10 hr day, the ice was melted but the remaining drinks were were ice cold. The K2 was in the back seat of my truck in 90+ degree Texas heat. I left the drinks and cold water in the K2 overnight and added few drinks and more ice the next morning. I repeated this process throughout the week. By Friday morning I still had ice cubes when I opened it up that morning to add a few drinks and more ice. The bottom line is... if you put chilled items in and the cooler is already cold, you will have the best results. Basically, you get out what you put in. I love my K2, and I would recommend it to anyone. I am writing this after 10pm on a Sunday, and I iced down drinks 2 days ago on Friday morning with very little ice. The ice is melted, but the drinks are ice cold. If you can get an Igloo or Coleman to do that you are a magician. Don't believe the negative reviews, save the money on buying the competition and buy this cooler.

Highly robust, excellent seat, stays cool
Transportation electrician, outdoor work. Looking for something to keep my lunch and drinks cool and also need a seat while eating. Works great. Ultra robust and sturdy. Built to last. In SoCal and the blue ice is still solid when I get home, albeit “winter” now. A bit bulky, heavy, a tad too much capacity for a daily lunch cooler. I’ll take that inconvenience for a great seat. Weight and bulkiness needed for the strength and good thermodynamic properties. Height is good, but wish K2 would reduce the length and width to reduce capacity. Soft strap awesome vs a rigid handle.

Tough and will hold the cold in pretty good from what I can tell
Fits in the back of my coosa hd kayak with room extra room in any direction. Tough and will hold the cold in pretty good from what I can tell. Might get 3 days of ice out of it......update ....tougher than I thought and got 5 days of ice out of it on a float trip. Last day was low ice but still cold. Only think is I wichita they had tie down strap anchors or something on it to strap it's down with and still be able to open it.

Don't hesitate! Give K2 a try!
LOVE this cooler! I did tons of cross comparison research online for a 20 quart cooler. There are several things that I really liked about the K2. First off, the price! Knowing I would be spending a lot of money on a cooler like this, I was happy to find that this cooler was significantly less expensive than others like it. Second, I love the strap. I've carried a similar cooler with a metal handle and when loaded to capacity, it was difficult to carry. The strap is comfy and makes carrying this cooler much easier. Third, the rubber closures are easy to open and close. My kids have no trouble getting into this cooler while on road trips as they often do to pass around cold drinks and snacks. The rubber grips on the bottom keep the cooler from sliding around as well. Fourth, I love the shape. It has a more square shape and is easy to handle. Plus, it just looks great and compact! And, finally, I love that this company is based in Louisiana and the products are made in the USA.As a family who road trips during the summer months and spend countless hours at the soccer fields, this compact cooler will get a lot of use!

I love my little K2 cooler
I love my little K2 cooler. I was looking for a 20qt class cooler with latches. There really isn't much on the market other than the rotomolded type cooler. This cooler beat the Yeti pricing by a substantial amount and I really like that it has a shoulder strap. I have a bad lower back and the padded shoulder strap makes it much easier for me to "scoop up" my cooler on my shoulder and move it as opposed to a handle that would be pulling me to one side or carried in front it would really be working my lower back.As for performance: This cooler is on par with the best of the best. I placed a frozen 2 liter bottle in the cooler one night before bed (yes, a 2 liter fits standing up), the next morning I had to slide a butter knife under the seal to break the suction! The cooler was sealed completely. I have learned to keep the cooler in the shade, the Duck Boat Green exterior warms considerably. Ice retention seems to be excellent. This item has no drain plug and this is the only fault that I can find with it.

Save your money!
I had this for a little while before finally using. My anticipation for having cold drinks in my car was over the moon. Unfortunately this cooler did nothing more than my Coleman cooler does, except cost and weigh a whole lot more than the Coleman. I filled it with ice on Saturday morning and by Sunday morning, I had water. Yes it was outside but so is my Coleman. I absolutely would not recommend this to anyone, unless they only cost about $30.Realizing that it was 100+ outside I decided to try the tumbler, I know that was stupid but what the heck. I bought the K2 tumbler and tried it against the $10 large Ozark Trail tumbler and all of the ice in the K2 was gone in about 6 hours while the Walmart version still had ice the next morning, they were both in my car all night long.Ok, so I decided to test again with the smaller $8 Ozark Trail tumbler to have a more even product type. In my house with the AC on, the K2 started melting right away, within an hour. By 6 hours in the house, there was no ice. The Ozark Trail tumbler still had almost all of the ice. and still did the next morning. I bought 3 of the Walmart tumblers and can assure you the K2s will probably never be used again. My friend tried the Ozark Trail against the Yeti and had the same results that I did. I just don't get the hype here.

Love this little guy!!!
I have a 64 quart yeti but I’ve been using this little guy more than I thought. Does a good job holding ice and it will fit 5 gallons of ice.
