Barbie Platinum Label Doll - Deirdre of Ulster - Legends of Ireland Collection

Beautiful doll. Absolutely stunning. She’s the kind of doll that can pull off being displayed in or out of the box because the box itself is incredible. The decorations and artwork on the box make the perfect frame for her. The stitching detail on her gown is unbelievable. Her body is the model muse type and she displays so well on her stand. Her makeup is gorgeous and her face mold isn’t like any other Barbie I’ve seen. Her lips are such a rich cherry red. Definitely the prettiest doll from the Legends of Ireland collection and my favorite probably ever. The only thing thing you might wanna watch out for if you display her out of the box is her sceptor- it can easily come loose if touched or played with. Her crown is pretty securely placed on her head. Her gown is non removable and you have to be careful when deboxing her from the middle. You don’t want to tear her gown when you slip off the twisty tie holding her in place underneath her clothing. Great collectors item. HIGHLY recommend!

A mesmerizing doll for the discerning Barbie doll collector. I could not believe how stunning this doll really is until it finally arrived and I was holding it in my hands. It is definitely the most beautiful doll created in the Legends of Ireland series. Also, the seller greatpaperskies took great care to use a sturdy shipping box and packaging to minimize damages along the way as well as sending this prized item Insured via USPS. Job well done! This doll was purchased as a gift for my 21 year old daughter, Deidre. She was named for this character, and we have followed the Deirdre legend since her birth. She desperately wanted this doll, but at $300.00 dollars this is not a toy and is for collectors only. Against my better judgemant I purchased the doll anyway. The excitement and joy on my Deidre's face upon seeing the doll was worth every penny. It was a very special gift for a very special girl.
