Works great in 3 freshwater tanks I maintain
I used this on my 36 gal. bow front freshwater rainbow fish aquarium, my grandson's 20 gal. molly, swordtail freshwater aquarium and at work on desktop 7.5 gal. low pH, soft water tetra aquarium. My personal tip to new user is when you put it, turn off all your filters, powerheads and etc. for 15 - 20 minutes and let it all slowly sink to the substrate. Air bubbles seems ok to leave on. Then after that time turn the filters back on. That has worked best for me, no dissolving problems, no dead, fish, no nitrate. If you don't the stuff floats around the fish tend to pick at it until they decide if it is to eat or not so I choose not to confuse and let it sink. I think it is a safe beneficial product and I have had only positive results. My 36 gal. bow use to jump from 15 PPM to 80 PPM in a week because of the decaying driftwood I'm sure plus food and etc. I do not use live plants, personal choice age related. Started using this, results are the creep is now manageable. I have used Nitra-Zorb which worked great but it requires refreshing with hot salt water for two hours then back in. Lot of trouble and then one day I had a pouch that the seam split and let product in with my fish while at work. I lost 3 rainbows. May be good but I'll never use that again. This product is easy to apply, easy to store, safe for the fish and I like it. Now I will say they could do better on the long term use instructions but the cap being well marked for measuring either 5ml or 10 ml is perfect compliment to the ease of use.

Takes time, but works
I've been using this with my cycle to jump start my liverock into growing bacteria that converts nitrate to nitrogen gas. I believe that's how this product works. I can say I've seen huge drops in nitrate after 3 weeks of starting. Usually your nitrates will skyrocket towards the end of a cycle, this has got them from over 100ppm down to 40ppm with no water changes. And I'm still dosing ammonia. Pretty great stuff. Hoping I don't have to keep dosing nitrate reducer once the bacteria population is big enough. But im sure I'll figure that out over time.

Works
Nitrates has been an ongoing problem for me. This knocked ot out.It is an odd additive. When placed in water it strings out, looks like a fiber. But after 10-15 minutes that goes away, and so does your nitrates. A brand I've not used before, but do far, so good.Prime, API, Fritz all does great with ammonia, chlorine, chloramines etc. This is a great secondary to knock down the nitrates.

Easy to use
I add 1/4 cup for 75 gallons once a week at the water change. My nitrates have come down but I can't tell you how much of a difference it makes. Phosphates are easier to get rid of. Nitrates are very difficult if you feed with pellets or flake. My other tank which is frozen food only has almost no Nitrates or Phosphates.

Works As advertised. Will take a little time with dosing this with regular water changes.
Works as advertised. Just takes a little time to see the results.

Worked immediately
It's definitely weird looking since it's more like little white pieces and not a liquid but, it worked. I put it into my tank in the morning. By night time, nitrates were halved. I would recommend strong circulation while waiting on results though!

Supposedly great with continued use over a prolonged period, but won't help you out of a bad situation quickly.
I used to pour this in my tank on a routine basis to help keep my nitrate levels down, but I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference. Upon further research, you really need to keep adding it on a regular basis over a prolonged period to see any real effect. For me, it wasn't worth it to buy so much of this stuff to accomplish that goal. It's much easier to just keep the nitrate levels down by not pushing your livestock limits and doing regular water changes. If you have unusual circumstances though, then this is a good product to test out in your system. Just remember to be patient and give it time to work (could take multiple weeks with continued use). It's really more of a preventative than a bandaid for an unfortunate situation.

Happy Fish
Been keeping my nitrate levels in my saltwater tank at a healthy level... my fish seem to like it as they are doing well.

Three Stars
Service was excellent however the product itself did not do anything to reduce my Niterate problem.
