Great, bit did the job worked with it for hours and still good , over 30 holes in the rocks the trick is to use a smaller bit first to drill a pilot hole, then use that one, I started with a 1/2 inch and then 1 inch and then the 1-1/2

I had to drill through 18" of block faced with 4" of natural stone. Went through the stone fine but a little slower through the block. If I lost this drill, I would replace it with the same. Fair value.

This did the trick to drill the required hole in the brick for my gas lines and electrical conduits, but holy moly did this bit cost a lot!! I guess if you need it, you need it though. 🤷‍♂️

Used this product to drill holes into mancus shale and dakota sandstone for placement of fencing t-posts. Worked really well but bit started to dull therefore the 4 stars. It isn't a cheap bit.

This masonry drill bit was well worth the money. I needed to drill a hole in a large rock to create a bubbling boulder in my landscape. It worked perfectly!

Disappointed, very disappointed. I used this drill bit for drilling rocks before applying Dexpan to the holes. Other buyers had drilled rocks without issue, but it failed in less than 3 hours. A mistake, a big mistake to purchase. I cooled bit in water frequently and didn’t force the bit. If anyone has or knows of a better bit, please let me know. Thanks.

Barely a scratch on it and it made a nice neat hole. I expect this tool to last a long time.
