Q: do they work work well in the refrigerator?

I have a small one in the frig. It seems to work well. They do well in the basement also.

Q: What size bags are recommend for large spaces?

Hi Victoria, Thank you so much for your question! Our bamboo charcoal air purifying bag set has 4 bags of bamboo charcoals. For each 200g charcoal bag, it can purify air for around 40~50 square ft. With our 4-piece set, 800g in total, they can purify air for around 150~200 square ft. The amount of charcoal bags required also depends on the air quality and air humidity. The pores of bamboo charcoals can absorb a certain amount of odors and moisture. After the pores get filled up, you need to put the charcoal bags outside in the sun to rejuvenate, the sunlight can clear the pores of bamboo charcoals, recover their absorption capacity. Q: Can it be placed on your AC air filter!!??

It is not a flat piece, it is bags of activated charcoal. But I am sure you could sit on top of or next to your air conditioner. I keep one on the side of my cat litter box and it does a great job of absorbing any orders

Q: Does the linen bag have a liner on the inside to prevent charcoal dust from escaping?

Im not sure but I haven’t experienced any charcoal dust escaping.
