24 years of wear gone in 30 minutes!
This really did it's job! I sat on my bed and filed the first 6 frets, took about 30 minutes to erase some deep grooves. It sounds so much cleaner now, and it's easier to play. This was easy to use, and the results are excellent. Buy it.

Nice easy to use file
This file fits the bill. The fine and coarse sides both cut on the push stroke. I've used the file on several necks with great results. The handle has easy to understand symbols on it so you know which direction to hold the file, and which coarseness you are using. I've found that a buff with some steel wool is all you need after using this file. I like that the pressure from your hand is directly above, as opposed to one with a handle where you're applying pressure on the forward portion of the file from behind. The Hosco compact feels more natural to me. Very happy with the product.

Fret Crowning File
This small feet crowning file is comfortable too use, But I found it too not cut as good as I thought it would. I have a couple more feet jobs too do so I will see how this does

It really works!!!
The media could not be loaded. This tool really works well. I've purchased a number of less expensive fret crowning files, and they're all garbage. None of them have any real bite, and simply skate across the wire, doing nothing to shape the fret. This one worked perfectly on Jescar Evo Gold fretwire, which is much harder than nickel silver, without dulling. I highly recommend this baby, as it actually works, and is easily worth the price of admission.

I have used it and it works
Using it takes some getting used to. Fits small in your hand. It cut the frets just fine. Follow the arrows
