Astonishing value for the price
After having various pairs of 10mm dynamic driver IEMs, and recently the excellent KZ ZS10 PRO hybrids (10mmDD and 4 balanced armatures) I decided to try these planar magnetics, after reading lots of reviews on the Head Fi site. Using the foam eartips for a better fit, I worked my way through the 12-15 tracks that are my go to for evaluating. All had more detail, soundstage, and were just more fun to listen to than usual. As many have said, if you are a basshead, note these do not have the oomph of a 10mm DD. I recommend getting the Linsoul 16 strand cable, as the one shipped is basic. I am a very satisfied customer.

Wonderful Listening Experience
The KZ ZSX is a 6 driver per side IEM. With this new model, KZ has incorporated new DWEK mid/high frequency balanced armatures. Each side consists of one 10 mm dynamic driver, two sets of DWEK mid/high BAs, and one 30095 high frequency BA.Accessories:The ZSX comes with 3 sets of starline tips in varying sizes, and 1 pair of smooth silicone tips in medium. Included is KZ's usual copper braided detachable cable which is serviceable but not the greatest. The cable has pre-formed ear hooks and utilizes a 2-pin paragraph C connector like the one on the KZ ZS10 Pro.Build Quality:The shell is made of resin with a mate zinc alloy faceplate and an aluminum nozzle. Build quality and fit and finish is good with no noticeable gaps or protruding seams. The nozzle does have a lip to secure tips. Be aware that the metal faceplate does attract fingerprints but it is easy to clean.Fit and Comfort:Despite the bulky shell, the ZSX fits comfortably in my small ears. I was able to wear them for an extended time without any discomfort. The ZSX is bigger and more sculpted than the ZS10 Pro but I found the ZSX to be more comfortable and ergonomic for my ears. Sound isolation is quite good. Due to the bulkiness of the ZSX, they do jut out the ear more than other IEMs that are more compact.Sound Quality:There is no shortage of bass with these IEMs. Great sub bass extension, well controlled, and punchy. Good clarity and detail in the mids but otherwise don't stand out compared to the treble and bass. The treble on the ZSX is the most noticeable change compared to the ZS10 Pro. The treble has good extension and excellent detail retrieval. Very clean and crisp presentation in the upper register without being sibilant. If you like the KZ ZS10 Pro but wanted more sparkle in the upper frequencies, then the ZSX addresses that perfectly. The treble on the ZSX just sounds more natural and airy, with a touch more clarity and micro detail. Soundstage is nice and spacious so you don't feel boxed in and good instrument separation handles more complex tracks with ease. Overall, the ZSX offers superb sound quality for the price and are my favorite KZs to date.

Great in ears at a great price
I use these as in ear monitors while playing bass at my church. The sound quality is a bit trebley but overall pretty good. Good dynamic range on the bass, I can easily adjust my feed to get a proper mix in my ears. My ears are typically difficult to fit with ear buds, but these fit well out of the box and are super comfortable. I paid about a tenth of what my colleagues paid for fitted in ear monitors; I'm sure that theirs are not 10x better.

Hi Q Sound/hearing. Low Q mic & bad wires
I play a lot of games where I need to hear footsteps and the quality of sound is amazing. I’ve been playing games with my friends and hearing things that they can’t hear, but the quality of my voice is very low in the party chat also because its a wired mic, a lot of times the mic will disconnect could possibly because of a loose port from my controller, yet coming from wireless Mic, I didn’t have those problems. It can be inconvenient, so for my personal preference where I need mobility and for players to hear my comms, it’s not for me. overall solid headphones for gaming. If you don’t care about voice quality and don’t need to be as mobile. side question for anybody out there, are there any inear mics like this that are wireless?

Amazing performance for the price.
I am a professional musician, and I bought these as a back up to my main set of custom molded in ear stage monitors. These were being compared to a set of 64 ears brand triple driver custom molded inserts, costing over 800.00. I run ampless on stage, so I rely heavily on my in ear monitoring to hear everything going on during a performance. Needless to say I demand a lot out of my in ear monitoring device.Last weekend my main ears went down, so I switched to these. Much to my surprise, they worked incredibly well. Were they equal to my expensive system? No, not at all. But these did have a rich, full low end usually lacking in cheap earbuds. The midrange was very pronounced in the 800hz-12khz range, where I had to pull that out quite a bit to make the mix neutral. 10-16khz had wonderful representation, adding a nice shimmer to my mix. The lows were fine, but did tend to breakup when pushed a little. As a bassist I need the low end, and while good, they did show their limitations when presented with the bass guitar and kick drum.So as a conclusion, these are amazing for their price. I got a reasonable seal with the provided tips, but no where close to a set of custom molded monitors as I am used to. Highs are well reproduced, mids are a bit too forward than my taste likes, and the low end, which sounds great at low/reasonable volume, but does tend break up when pushed. Not perfect, but good enough for a backup for stage use.

Music listening
Works and sounds great. A bit louder than I expected, but nothing turning down the volume didn't fix.

If you knew you wanted a V shaped yet relatively inoffensive IEM, these are a winner at a good price
Very enjoyable V shaped tuning that manages to maintain tightness through all frequencies and deliver boosted yet totally inoffensive bass and treble. My only knock is they fatigued my ears fairly quickly but for sound quality these are exceptional for the price. Just know that you're getting a non-harman V shaped sound. That was exactly what I wanted and I am pretty much thrilled with these. excellent value, excellent sound for the price point, and a very enjoyable and well thought out V tuning that will delight bass heads everywhere at a great price. Just wish they had the standard non recessed 0.78mm cable connectors cuz I have aftermarket cables for those.

Very good headphones! I can hear things ive never heard before
The media could not be loaded. Really good headphones. The backgroubd instruments come alive. Theres things ive never heard before in old songsThe only draw back is they are kinda large. But if you read magnetic planar headphones are large so its understandable
