Crisp Clear Picture!
The Hisense Roku 4K ULED HDR Smart TV delivers a sharp and clear picture. Set up was beyond easy. The online setup walked you step by step through the entire process. The television is WIFI enabled so you are able to watch all of the normal streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. The home screen gives you a wide array of streaming services to chose from and download. It offers free shows via ROKU. ROKU offers an app to use on your phone to help control the TV as well which is a great option. The sound is Dolby Atmos and makes it seem as if you are in the middle of the movie, sporting event, or concert. I have a gaming system, cable, and a number of streaming services and all work well with the Hisense TV. I am able to easily navigate through the menu to get to exactly what I want quickly. The remote is also voice enabled to make it even easier to get to what you want quickly. It has 4 HDMI ports which is useful when you have multiple devices you want to use. Another wonderful feature is being able to project from your phone or tablet to the tv using the application that you download on your phone. The 4K ULED takes your TV experience from the doldrum to transformational. 55 inches is exactly the perfect size for a living area or even the bedroom. I like how clear the picture is and that the color is stupendous. There is no pixilation at all and the wide color Gamut makes the picture more lifelike.I find myself wanting to get another one for another room. This is an excellent value for this price point. I would recommend purchasing this Hisense Roku television.

Great Value for a 65 inch TV
The picture quality is great and beats a new Samsung 65 inch that I have in another room. The colors are rich and vibrant compared to my new Samsung where the colors are more saturated. The viewing angle on the Samsung is better than the Hisense but for my setup no one is viewing the Hisense at an angle. The Hisense comes with metal feet that are very sturdy and not plastic. You can also adjust the feet to attach closer together which helped in my situation because my stand is not as wide as the TV. I saw in other reviews that the sound was not that great and would need a sound bar. I thought the sound was clearer and stronger than my new Samsung. I have to turn the Samsung up to 10 to get a clear distinguishable sounds while the Hisense I only needed to turn it up to 4. The Roku built in makes navigating the TV a breeze and the TV is very responsive when navigating different areas. It doesn't lag like my Samsung. The delivery was great through Amazon. TV was delivered by Amazon truck and in perfect condition. All in all a great buy

The Best Roku TV
The TCL 6-series has gotten so many rave reviews from commercial sites that I'd started to believe the hype. I decided to do my own unbiased, unpaid, side-by-side comparison featuring a 65-inch TCL 6-series and a 55-inch Hisense R8. Note that the TCL uses the term "Action Smoothing" in its options menu, while the Hisense uses the term "Motion Enhancement."I was stunned to find that the colors on the Hisense Roku TV looked much more vibrant. You can judge for yourself in the attached images. I made sure that the image settings were identical, as shown in one of the photos, and each television was under the same lighting in every picture. The Roku operating system is famously simple and convenient. It's easy to download apps that provide many of the same channels seen on cable, along with video-on-demand services. In addition to HDMI ports, the television also has built-in RCA inputs, which allows for easy connection to older devices via those red, white, and yellow A/V cables. I also love the USB connector, which lets you enjoy video, audio, or images from a flash drive. Combine that with the ULED image quality, which is superior to other Hisense Roku televisions, including the newer "Quantum" model in my opinion, and the R8 is simply the best value when it comes to Roku TVs.

Giving my Hisense TV a 4 star review.
10/22 Update. Amazon/HiSense is sending me a new TV to see if the problem is rectified. I'll report back shortly..Hi all..I wrote a pretty scathing review and deleted it based on my experiences dealing with Hisense.First, the 2nd TV and and some new cables got things working correctly. Hisense has a really good team of tech people, they were patient and helped figure things out.Now i have the TV/sound system I hoped i'd have.Dollar for Dollar, Hisense makes a very good TV. My Roku now works correctly and while the onboard sound isn't terrible, there's little you can do with 1" thick speakers.. Buy this TV, add a decent sound bar/AV receiver and have a very good system for less that a well known brand name TV by itself.Picture is good, colors are good, it doesn't need a lot of adjustments, but you can tweak it some to suit your own taste.I'm not going to claim this is a $2500 TV, it's not, but 99% of us won't be able to tell the difference. So for $700 (I paid less on Amazon Prime Day) you'll still get a decent TV.. Watching sports is really nice.Ultimately, I'm happy with my new TV.

IT does what it claims & then some
AT LAST, a TV with a VERY EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD SOUND SYSTEM. I'm hard of hearing but don't need the CC with this TV. My 55" LG has to be turned up to 100 & then run through my Onkyo super amp to be able to hear & clarify. This Hisense performs perfectly at 31 with the included sound adjustment settings. I had a little difficulty at 1st with set up only because it took a while to understand the remotes format. It's almost too simple. But now it's a breeze & very versatile. Superb picture quality. I have an LG 55" in the living room & it is also a very fine (5*****) TV but is sometimes a bit quirky. The Roku channels exceed the LG channel list with far more choices. Also far more apps & easier app setup. All in all, with all it's neat features, it's an exceptionally GOOD DEAL for the price. Also, amazon should be COMMENDED on their shipping, as I ordered it Saturday & it was here the following Tuesday. Now THAT'S GREAT SHIPPING
