Excellent!!
200708greetings to all,we've had these bluonics filters, the 5-micron, the1-micron, and the carbon block charcoal solid filters for several years now. in our area we have a tremendous amount of iron, as well as hard water. the system i installed and tweaked over time is three (3) 4.5x20 inch bluonics filters and a water conditioner.like many other people we tried different brands of filters other than bluonics, but none of them compare to the excellent results we're getting. i've kept track of our water usage, which filter was used and where located in-the-line, etc, using spreadsheet/tables. i've uploaded one of the pics from november 2019 to show you the excellent filtration these bluonic filters are doing for us. its been 7-months since i changed the filters, and any new pics will show the same result. i'm finding that we need to change our filters about every 4-months. i went a little longer this time to observe the quality of water over an extended period of time before changing the filters. more specifically, i change the first-in-line 5-micron filter more often than the other two. i also check and clean the polyphosphate beads every time i change any filter. btw when the polyphosphate beads become clear that's the time to change and replenish them.i've narrowed the water filtration system i installed like this - three (3) 4.5x20 inch bluonics and a bullitt water conditioner in this order: 5-micron -> 1-micron -> carbon block charcoal (solid) -> water conditioner.this is an older house (mid 1940s) and here's what i would do different: my sweetheart doesn't want or like salt water (its an environmental woman thing (pita (lol))) so at the time of me installing this setup i made a decision to go with a water conditioner, that uses polyphosphate beads. but here is what i would do different, if the layout of the basement and pipes permitted.i would've routed and installed a water softener - first - then i would install a 2-or-3 filter system directly AFTER the softener, of course, using the bluonics system. this would take care of my sweetheart's concerns. in fact when we have our new house built this setup i just stated will be installed.the customer service bluonics has given us has been excellent, courteous and quick to respond to my inquiries over the last three years!!have a great day.
