Nice pads
These went on my 2008 Tahoe Hybrid without any issues. They definitely provide greater bite and less fade then the stock pads that were on there. This was especially noticeable while towing 5,000 pounds this past weekend. I don't know how long they'll as I've only had them on a couple of weeks. They are more expensive then your typical Autozone / Advanced Auto Parts pads but they look beefier and they definitely feel better.Absolutely change both the front and rear at the same time. Don't use stock pads on one end and these on the other, it's a very bad idea.

Horrible! Probably not even Hawk! Almost caught my truck on fire!
These came delivered with paint all over them! After bedding them in one pair smoked so bad and the paint was peeling so horrible I thought it was going to catch fire!

Good pads, good life, good feel
Performance is good, they do need to be bedded in. Application is a 2008 GMC pulling 14,000 and 10,000 pound trailers. The factory pads were used up in 25,000 miles.

... to switch to Hawk over EBC due to much better reviews. What a waste of time
I wanted to switch to Hawk over EBC due to much better reviews. What a waste of time. I got the brakes installed and they worked great. So much better at stopping than the EBC brakes I had. After 2500 miles, though, they started squealing. More than just a normal squeal that you can get from some pads. It was so bad that my wife demanded that they be removed. She got stares when she pulled into the school kid drop-off and pickup lines. So out they came. Come to find out that the "integrated shim" had broke free from the pad backing plate. That happened on 3 of the four pads!

Great braking once they warm up.
If these pads didn't need warming up, than I would have given it 5 stars. The braking once warm is a noticeable difference in my 2010 escalade. The first time braking that day was noticeable that it wasn't braking as well. But after leaving my neighborhood (2 stop signs) it's noticeable that it has more bite.
