For this who are following me and reading my reviews, you may know I have pretty bad back problems. I was in a car wreck that left me bed ridden for 6 months. That was years ago and to this day I feel pain. My life revolves around how to make it easier for my back.I am taking multiple diet pills to put a little less weight on my back. I orders a self opening jar opener, because I strained my back reaching under the counter to use the jar opener there. I purchased a massage gun, a tens unit and more. That is just stuff I did on Amazon. (I bought my car, because it has heated seats and a rear view camera!). I have tailored my life around my health problem.Before I bought this heating pad, I had two electric heating pads and one microwave. Microwave gives you a wetter heat that feels better on my back. It is hard to explain. I have a heating pad in the bedroom, as well as in my office. I wanted one for my bed, so I did not have to keep stooping down and unplugging a pad, just to bring it to another room.I told a friend I always retire to my bedroom once my back starts hurting enough. I wished I had a heating pad that covered more of me. Sometimes I unplugged both pads, just to cover my upper and lower back. A long time ago I used a heated blanket but it just did not give off the same heat. My friend asked why I did not get one that covered my whole back. I had never seen one. I had no idea they existed! I looked it up and, yes, there are longer pads. I was still a little incredulous when I saw the pix on products, where people’s backs were completely covered. I honestly was hesitant to believe it. The photos in ads/listings just never live up to what it is really like. In my mind, the measurements did not add up to something that long. I needed one, so I bought it anyway.The first thing I did was lay it down my legs, and I was amazed at the length. It really was that long!!!! I was so excited. It was soft, and I loved the blue color! I held my breath and tried it. The third photo is the dial to turn it on and set the temperature. (It also has a UV light cleaner I was using - if you are trying to be safe during covid, check out my review on that!) I know it is a small thing, but I am starting to get arthritis in my hands. I really appreciate when I turn it on it goes to the third setting for heat. I never use the lowest settings, although I sometimes use the even higher ones.This blanket works perfectly AND it covers my FULL back. This is a blessing for me. I am sitting here trying to fight how frugal I am and trying to decide if I need several of these, to replace the smaller ones I have. I have never had this much coverage. One of the ones I owned was a Sunbeam. It was supposed to be extra large, but the size of half of that if this one.I can whole heartedly and without any reservations recommend this.

I've had several orthopedic surgeries including a total hip replacement and a lumbar vertebral disc repair. Even so, I am always in pain, use a cane or a walker, and have limited mobility being pretty much home bound. Heat helps tremendously. This heating pad is the best one I've ever owned. It's sufficiently wide & long; doesn't have any palpable wires, and is quite adequately warm on the lowest setting for great pain relief. I don't believe one should turn the heat up past 1 or it would be too hot. The 2-hour auto shut-off is just OK as I would prefer one that stayed on until I turned it off. Also, one can only turn it back on FOUR times before this heating pad tells you it needs to cool off. Nice controls, easy to clean, adequate instructions except for the one picturing an infant placed on a folded pad. It's still unclear as to whether one is not supposed to lie on it or just ascertain that the pad should be completely flat. The directions don't specify. Worth the money. I hope it lasts!! :)

I have been looking for an extra latge/long heating pad for a couple of weeks. I came across this one on amazon and read the reviews then decided to purchase. No regrets. I bought it for leg cramps and backaches. It is perfect. The material is soft, the pad warms up quickly and can be "draped" over my legs sort of like a "hug". I hurt my right knee recently so I have been using this heating pad to help with the aching while rotating with ice. I cant take ibuprofen so this heating pad is essential. Works so well that my child keeps taking it to use for his aching legs/"growing pains". Sometimes I forget to shut it off before I go to sleep. It shuts off after so long. Good product. I would buy again.

This heating pad ticks nearly all the boxes as far as I'm concerned. Being so large (17"x33") it covers my feet and legs, allowing me to relax and get to sleep. Most other heating pads are only big enough to cover my feet. The cover really is very soft so I can lay on the pad and not get scratched.The one thing I hope will be updated in the next model is the control selector. In the dark, you want to have controls that you can easily feel and make adjustments without having to turn on a light. The current controls are not intuitive and require making visual contact to get the desired setting.Overall, a very good product.
