Works with Issues
I try different cooking utensils to see what may speed my cooking process up. This works and crushes the garlic and will release the garlic if it is wet, like the same thing you do when you chop garlic with a wet knife, otherwise it will stick to the metal. It usually does not crush all the garlic but leaves a flat piece on the chopping board (Not Always) and it takes a lot more force than I thought. You also will need a spoon to scrape the garlic off the top grate and the bottom. Not great for a couple of cloves but really awesome if doing a lot for storage to use later. It is very well made so you aren't going to break it too easy.

Really hard to clean and doesn't work well
If you are looking for a way to peal and chop garlic I do not recommend this product. It doesn't mince the garlic well, you have to be really strong to crush the garlic. Good luck then getting the garlic out of the little grates. Also, the roller to remove the garlic skin is a complete waste. Didn't work at all.

So Simple and Works Like a Charm!
Where has this unique device been all my life? Every once in a while, someone invents a tool that is so simply obvious you have to wonder why you didn’t think of it yourself. Well, you didn’t have to because here it is. It really doesn’t take much strength to push down and get the garlic crushed, but I suppose some people could have a problem wit. You’ll still have to go through the process of taking the skin off the garlic before crushing it. They’ve packaged a “roller tube” that is supposed to do that easily, but I couldn’t get it to work very well and couldn’t be bothered. Maybe you’ll like it, or maybe you’ll stick it in the drawer, like me, and never use it. You will use the press, though. It’s great.

this made me want to learn to cook
I am not even close to an "Amature" cook these days, but, for the first time, I used the garlic press. First pulling off 3 sections of garlic and using the sleeve that came with it to remove the paper. I was amazed at how easy it was. Then it took hardly any weight to use the press to crush the garlic. The brush that came with it made it easy to push the garlic out of the press.

They make it look so easy...
Not so much. You really, really have to push and press hard to get through a garlic clove. Much harder than with a garlic press. Even my husband decided it took too much effort. I don't actually know how they make it look that easy? Well, I am not going to bother returning it. Anyone want one? I am going back to my regular garlic press. The green tube silicon garlic peeler, is pretty nifty though! And it looks sturdy, like it will last a lifetime (prob because it is too hard to ever use?).

Much better than old school garlic presses
I have had this garlic press for some time now and these are the reasons I like it-1. It’s a LOT easier to clean than a conventional garlic press.2. I can peel garlic cloves with the tube even if I’m not trying to mince it.3. I can mince multiple cloves of garlic and use the inner surface of mincer. This helps with not having to put the minced cloves of garlic in one by one into the pan while cooking as I would have to do with a conventional press. It’s cheap and really handy in the kitchen. I would strongly recommend this product to people.

Not that great
I was very disappointed. It only partially mashes garlic, a large amount is left on the board and will not go through the holes no matter how hard you press or rock. You end up chopping roughly half.
