FootJoy Men's Pro/Sl Golf Shoes-Previous Season Style

Overall, the shoe is nice. I would like a little wider toe box and not so much of a pointed toe box, but I kinda knew it was going to be like that going in. I guess the biggest issues I have are with the construction.The first issue I have is that in the design, the lide has a leather panel that is sewn into it just outside of the lace lines. When I lace up one of the shoes, I can feel that sew point digging into the top of my foot a bit. I thought it was from the laces, but no, its just the way its designed and made. The other one is the little metal insert in the eyelet second from the top. Just make them all the same, I don't need one set of metal eyelets.As for traction, they are awesome!! This was my first pair of spikeless shoes, and I was concerned with grip, and these have it in bunches. I have not had one foot slip since I got them. If they could make them with a wider toe bok, and fix the junction spot on the top of the shoe to remove the pressure point, they would be perfect.. Would I buy them again, probably not, but they keep my feet dry and keep me in place, so they aren't all bad.

I played in these for the first time today. I am a former professional golfer so I definitely know performance and a quality product. This style Pro/SL was great right out of the box and comfortable all day. No slipping. Dry in wet/dew conditions. The newer model of Pro/SL was not comfortable and felt cheap. I do have a pair of the Pro/SL Carbon and those are comfortable as well (but to be expected with a better lining on the inside of shoe). All in all I’d buy this style or the Pro/SL Carbon (the best feeling). I great bargain.

This is not my first pair of FJs. I had enjoyed sever pairs over the years. This particular shoe runs 1 hole size bigger than the normal size. 11.5 W. fits like a 12.5 W. Other wise? A good shoe.

Recently switched back to Footjoy shoes due to a peroneal tendon injury. In my opinion, they offer the best support and swing stability of any shoe I’ve worn. Great comfort to go along with stability and support. Classic look, obviously well made coming from Footjoy and highly recommend these shoes. Excellent traction and no issue in wet or dry conditions. Delivery was fast coming from Carl’s Golfland, who I have purchased from in the past. Excellent online store.

I wore these for less than 5 rounds and the toe appears to have defective materials. The leather on the toe cap is wrinkling and shriveling up. Images of what I’m seeing are included. Good fit and feel but dissappointed with quality. Going to ask for a replacement pair.

Very disappointed with the quality of these shoes. After one season and the delayed start of this season, the spike strips separated from the bottom of the shoe. Kind of defeats the purpose of wearing spikes. This is my 5th pair of Footjoys (the rest were all Dryjoys) and I have always been impressed with the quality until this pair. Don't need to worry about the two year waterproof warranty when the shoes fall apart after 1+ season.

We have bought FootJoy golf shoes on Amazon before with good results. This pair literally fell apart in 24 hours. The bottom parts came unglued and fell off. Requested refund —we shall see. More and more I do not want to buy high end, nice items on Amazon because they are fake. Frustrating.

Bought this shoe because advertised as the most comfortable golf shoe yet. B S! The top of the shoe rubbed the top of my foot. Hurt after a few holes. Only wore 2 and a half times. Contacted Footjoy. They were terrific I handling the issue. Don’t buy these if you have a high arch.

Definitely comfortable shoes. I consider myself to have narrow feet so these are definitely a cosy fit.
