I hate the taste of water so I cut up lemons and limes and would add them to my water as I drank it. I got tired of making it each time so started looking for an infusion pitcher. With so many on the market I had a hard time deciding. Then this one caught my eye. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try.I immediately cut up some lemons and limes once I received it and I've not looked back. VERY simple and easy to use. I'm drinking more water now! I also love the look of it. In addition to the infuser tube, there's also one for ice. I loved it so much I bought one for my mom. Mom also approves! HIGHLY recommended!Update: I broke the lid of my pitcher. I was unsure if it could be replaced but I contacted customer service. I expected a firm "Sorry, too bad so sad." As expected they don't sale replacement lids but they were able to check with a partner and get me a replacement lid shipped out!!!! They were very nice and courteous considering the mistake was all me. I will buy from this company again without a second thought. THANK YOU for the excellent product + customer service.

This is the older model offered by this company. The newer one has three inserts, one additional for making tea, and a new top that may be tougher. But I love the look and feel of both. I enjoy cucumber water in particular, and this makes it easy. Within fifteen minutes of filling the insert with sliced cucumbers, the water has that fresh flavor I love. Lemon water takes a bit longer, but it's great, too. I like the cucumber version so much that I haven't yet tried other recipes from their book, but I intend to.I use refrigerator filtered water for this. I would guess that tap water would work fine unless you're in an area with really nasty water.I tried using my Brita countertop tank for this purpose, but the upper tank is so difficult to remove and clean that I gave up. I'm happy to have found this alternative. The shape of the pitcher is graceful, and the handle is fairly easy to manage even when the pitcher is full.The customer service is truly outstanding as well.Thank you!

The water pitcher looks good and does what it's suppose to. The infuser core is screwed to the top lid so you have to remove the lid carefully so as to no damage the infuser core. The lid is hard plastic and fits tight against the hard plastic of the pitcher. There is no rubber seal to provide a soft closure of the lid. The lid and infuser core come out as one piece for when you need to replace fruit or refill the pitcher. Imagine holding the lid and drippy infuser core while you're trying to add water. I would consider this a design flaw, but it's technically functional. If you keep your expectations low then you might be completely happy with this product.

I really like this pitcher. It's easier to haul around than glass and makes for a pretty display. It provides an easy way to get the fruit out before it goes bad without having to strain the water. I use the ice core all the time to keep orange juice cold. The only thing that I don't like is that the pitcher doesn't close. The lid fits well, but there is no way to close it.

1. I returned my first pitcher because the top did not rotate so that the pitcher could be completely closed. I ordered a replacement and noticed that that is just the way the pitcher is built. I ordered another one because the price is so reasonable and I can only drink water. (Anything can trigger a migraine for me.) I now have fun purchasing very fresh organic fruit, washing them in "Fit Water," and putting them, cut up, into the insert in my pitcher. Flavored water is so delicious; I can now rotate which fruits I choose to use. This pitcher comes with a PDF "cookbook" for infusion pitchers; nice to get the creative juices (pun intended) going :0)

Overall a great product. Does what it's design to do and is fairly sturdy. The design aesthetic is great in how it feels and how crystal clear the plastic is. Good for displaying your tea or fruit water. The only problem I have so far is with the lid. It doesn't screw on or have a lot of friction to keep it in place. If you're just using it for fruit water you'll probably never have an issue, but if you are going to be dumping hot tea into it for making iced tea then the slight distortion caused by the heat is enough to give you problems with the lid. It probably would help if the rim of the pitcher had a flat ring surface and the lid met that surface to add some friction. As it is, it just secures right on the edge of the rim.**EDIT: So I must revise downward. The lid became a total pain. It would pop off while pouring fairly frequently. We suffered along for a while now but then the handle fell off while hand washing. Crazyness.

Although we were careful to follow directions, the ice insert for the middle of the pitcher cracked the first time we used it. The infuser insert is narrow enough that you need to chop the fruit or vegies quite narrow to fit. All in all, this was not a good purchase & the quality of the product was below par. I have a plastic pitcher now, but that’s all I wouldn’t buy it again, or recommend to anyone else.

Love, love, love this pitcher! Filling the column with fresh or frozen fruit is a breeze. The little slits in the column allow the water to flow through and infuse with flavor. It also comes with a solid core that you can fill with water and freeze so that you have an ice core to keep your drink cold. The core screws onto the top so it stays in place and is easily changeable with the solid core. All parts are easy to wash and it is BPA free if you are mindful of this benefit. I have used it constantly since the day it arrived. Works great with water and fruit and I have also used it to make sun tea and fill the core with lemon. Great product.
