I'm driving a 2023 Ford Maverick XLT with the 2.0L turbo engine. I was getting 28-30 MPG.. mixed traffic, 44 miles round trip per day. No A/C running. At 475 miles I pulled the Ford OE engine air filter and replaced it with this K&N Filter. Now at 575 miles, I'm getting 30-32 MPG, mixed traffic, 44 miles round trip per day. No A/C running. I'm a believer in this K&N engine filter filter.

MPG with factory filter at 23.5, with the K&N at 21.7. Hard to tell if there was a power increase, that little 1.5 3 cylinder turbo runs good. With the increase in fuel I suppose there had to be. The computer seemed to take a while to smooth out the air flow change, quickly, like 25 miles, but felt it both times I changed it to K&N and back to factory, which is in now and will stay in. Thanks to $5/gallon gas, more MPG is more important.My daily drive is about 36 miles round trip, 80% of it at 80mph on the Outerbelt, 35mph and less for the rest of the streets. Total run is widely different but the drive is always the same.Loosen clamp on 3" inlet pipe to ease raising and pivoting air filter top housing, other wise just 2 clips.

Not going into all the specifics. Amazon tells you when you have your vehicle saved as Bronco Sport that it does NOT fit. Not the case. It's a perfect fit. Noticeable performance. Been running it for the last 2k miles or so. This is the model you want for your Bronco Sport of any trim or engine.

got this for 2023 my ford maverick dose what it is intended and way better then factory air filter for sure

Whenever we get a new or used vehicle in our household one of the first things I do is replace the air filter with a K&N. They increase airflow while still offering good air filtration and I notice a slightly better performance in acceleration and smoother idling etc. Some people say they improve your fuel mileage but I've not noticed that myself. Yes they are two or three times more expensive than conventional paper filters but when you factor in that they are renewable by cleaning and retreating them I actually save a little money over the life of the vehicle and it helps eliminate waste.

I've had K&N drops in my 2012 Mustang GT, 2006 Altima 3.5 and now in my 2021 Bronco Sport Outer Banks version. The pickup in Eco mode was sluggish with the OEM filer and Sport had a moderate pick up with the OEM. The K&N however completely enhances the ECO mode for local driving giving the 1.5L engine much better acceleration. Sport is astronomically enhanced with the K&N drop; taking the SUVs fun level from a 7 to a 9 out of 10. Who would have thought that something so simple would make that much difference. MPG have increased from 24 to 27.

I used this for my Bronco Sport 2 Liter to see if improves performance.
