For the money great little player. Sound is great with your own better earplugs. Only one vice I see that isn't user friendly; you can pause the player while in use, but when you have it on a song or album, it will go back to menu and leave your holding place, so that you have to go back through to your last song, when you turn it off. It's only used for listing to music for me. So far durable, and I will add that I purchased this myself and item was not given to me for a review, as this seemed the case on most of the reviews I've seen.

The Tomamen MP3, MP4 player is a solid, if unspectacular, device which delivers good sound and performance for the price. The product is very easy to load and operate As with all products made in China, there is sometimes some confusion in the translation of the instructions but once you get the hang of it, it is very easy to operate. All in all, I would recommend the product for those looking for a reasonably priced MP3 player that performs with good (as I said, if unspectacular) quality and reliability.

I love these little players, I have bought six of them. One for each kid, now they have an mp3 layer to listen to their music and I didn't have to spend a lot of money to give them that luxury.Bought of for myself, after watching the kids with theirs. Good at the price. There were no operating instructions with the unit. I used it to record and listen to library books. loads quickly, recharges quickly. Good sound and long battery life (8-10 hours) Unfortunately it became inoperable after a few weeks since my computer will recharge the battery but will no longer recognise it. So it can accept new data.

The product works but feels functionally deficient. You get what you pay for. I loaded 20 gigs of music on it and it freezes sometimes requiring a shut off, seems to play a lot of the same tracks over and over and never gets to others, and just feels cheap and less functional than all other digital music players I've had in the past.

one of the speakers on the headphones didn't work, you pretty much get what you pay for, didn't see a random or shuffle mode on it either. Other than that, it holds a lot of music and the battery seems to last a long time.

Bought this for my Mom a few years ago, but she never took it out of the package. I have tried to use it a total of 5 times, and it worked ok at first, but the last two times I tried to use it, the play button only works very intermittently, so I can't get it out of pause unless I hit it about 10 times, and by that time I want to throw it on the ground and crush it with my heel. The only thing it is good for now is just storage of data. As others have said, you get what you pay for.
