Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  We had ordered before a 2 lb bag of raw seeds, pretty happy with it, kids love them, with the random 1/20-1/30 seed roten or eaten inside by a worm, nothing to complain about that because there is nothing you can do. We ordered a second bag and started eating that day, a handfull of them with nothing strange at all. The day after I could see through the bag several LIVE worms (I guess more inside, it was a 2 lb bag). Not 2 or 3, way more. The bag was opened and I had some so I didn't even try to return it. Horrible product and horrible experience, definitely not this brand ever again. Too bad I have to give at least one star because it doesn't deserve it.

I eat a lot of sunflower seeds. A LOT — averaging more than half a pound a day. They keep me from biting my nails and picking at my cuticles and other mindless habits, plus they keep a slow-and-steady supply of protein without a ton of calories. I eat them All Day Long at my desk.The trick, though, is finding GREAT sunflower seeds. Not too salty, not unsalted, and not too many weird sticks or empty shells.In the beginning I tried David's, Trader Joe's, and Publix brand seeds from local store.. None were quite right, so I turned to Amazon ... and found Gerbs!Gerbs' Lightly Sea Salted have the perfect amount of salt, not overpowering the flavor of the seed and never leaving the mouth feeling burned or dry. I'm an Amazon Prime member, so they arrive quickly, and the price is competitive so I can afford my unusual habit.I promise you, these sunflower seeds are the best!Please spit responsibly.

Can't speak for every brand out there, though I've had my share, I can say these are VERY Good! I'm considered by many as the connoisseur of sunflower seeds as I've been enjoying them since the age of 5, & I'm well past 5 decades of doing so. LOL. Funny thing is I don't like salt...@ ALL.So finding low to no sodium that's eatable is a serious challenge as they're like, well, Bird Seed. So I've grown content purchasing 2 diff brands, mixing & literally sifting all of the salty dust off. Enter the Gerbs Non GMO Unsalted Roasted. So good I just ordered my 2nd bag. Instead of that Bird Seed taste, they actually have a smooooth unsalted Roasted flavor. Yes, true Roast you can taste! "who knew, right" I'm saying for the world to read I'm Gerbs for life,...long as they don't change their process/recipe. HIGHLY recommend! And though I'm open to try a couple other brands, I'll definitely keep Gerbs on my shelf. If by chance I find something better I'll update this review, but I doubt it.Keep up the good work Gerbs

My husband's job requires a lot of driving for work -- constantly driving all day long. My job requires many early morning or late night driving. Both of us are driving in what I would consider compromising conditions.The first thing I was looking for were organic sunflower seeds. I really didn't want something tainted by GMOs, contain MSG flavorings, or refined "table salt." I didn't know if I could even find such a thing. While these may not be technically organic, they are the closest thing I could find. I know it can be difficult for farms to get organically certified so as long as it was not genetically modified, I'm happy.I bought the lightly sea salted variety. There are no other flavorings other than sea salt. The quality and flavor of the seed is delightful. The sea salt is light enough to brighten the flavor of the natural seed, but does not have a salty taste. This is perfect because my husband eats these all day long every day to stay awake during the mundane chore of driving. He can chew them without a painfully swollen blistered tongue by the end of the day.Occasionally, I'll come across a stick in the bag. That's no big deal. There are a couple that don't have seeds in them either. These things are nothing out of the ordinary when buying any other bag of sunflower seeds. What I will say is that I haven't come acrossed a burnt seed -- at least not yet. Other brands of sunflower seeds contain oddly shaped seeds and many burnt seeds (especially the brand Spitz).I couldn't take the flat, bitter taste of other brands of seeds. It's like they take their mis-shapen, genetically modified seeds, burn them for "flavor," and cover up the bitterness with MSG flavorings. In the end, my tongue is so painfully swollen that I can't even bear to chew another one for weeks. Only out of desperation to stay awake while driving will I succumb to those other brands.These seeds are the best! I make sure to never run out. Once I open the second to last bag, I order more. There is always one un-opened bag in the pantry to manage inventory so we don't ever have to run out.Enjoy!

I recently purchased both the sunflower seeds and the pumpkin seeds - prepared by Gerbs. Unlike the pumpkin seeds which are delicious, the sunflower seeds were uneatable: First, the seeds are very small, leaving very little to eat underneath the shell. Second, the seed I ate were virtually void of any taste. Third, I could not trace any salt on them. This is in sharp contrast to the lightly salted richly flavored pumpkin seeds.Worst yet, I have contacted the company through its website - and got no response, let alone an explanation or apology. So much for standing behind your product.By all means, buy the pumpkin seeds, but look elsewhere if you want a similar experience with your sunflower seeds.

My birds love sunflower seed and never seems to be enough in the birds food so i use this as a supplement for their diets

Seeds are crispy very little taste of sea salt and there is a not so pleasant after taste a sort of staleness. I have eaten David brand sunflower seeds and they rock compared to this over priced brand. I will never buy again and that's a shame considering the idea of sea salt and non gmo seeds.Oh well I'll still eat them but I wouldn't recommend them .I'VE BEEN SPITTIN SEEDS FOR 55 YEARS I know seeds

Best sunflower seeds I had in a while. Didn't last a week in our house. Everyone loved it. I like the fact that there is no salt so it's a perfect snack. The packaging, the taste, everything was great with these. If price was a bit less I would probably buy few packs and keep them around.

Dry, unpleasant taste. One of the worst sunflower seeds I have ever tried.

Fantastic product. It is difficult to get a lightly salted sunflower seed in shell.
