David Copperfield (Flame Tree Collectable Classics) (Small)

Seriously, people need to pay attention to the product description because it clearly states the size lol. It’s a handheld, on the go hardcover book about the size of any regular mass market book. It’s not hard to handle, the font is a decent, readable size. It’s an absolutely BEAUTIFUL book! The edges are gilded gold, with beautiful gold foil on the cover. Ribbon markers, a glossary of terms in the back to help readers understand Victorian slang, etc. These are perfect for book collectors or any book lover. I personally love smaller books instead of big bulky ones and I’m happy to have found classic versions of these. Hoping to get them all down the road.

I thought the book will be bigger, but even for the size it is a very beautiful collectible item. It is a little bigger than a palm size.

I bought this book for my wife who is reading it in her book club. The book is very handsome but the font is ridiculously small. She read a few chapters but in the end threw in the towel and is reading it on her Kindle. (A hard move do a Luddite). The book will look nice on our book shelf.

Product dimensions are smaller than a normal book. It makes it difficult to read and handle.

Had no idea it was a mini sized book. Not for me.

I'm not reviewing the story, because I've read it umpteen times in other editions, and it's my favourite Dickens novel. However, I am quite disappointed in this edition, which looks lovely in the pictures AND is lovely in the hand as well. BUT....It is TINY. Far smaller than a normal-sized paperback. In fact, the dimensions are only 6 inches x 4 inches x 2 inches. The print is very tiny (around a Times font size 9) ...and appears as grey on cream. In short, it's going to be nearly impossible to read ...and I have good close vision.I wouldn't want to put people off if they think this wouldn't bother them ...and the book is lovely to look at. But if sight is any kind of an issue for you, I would strongly recommend that you pass this one by.

Good quality but you need good eyesight - the text is very, very small. The small size means the book is extremely thick and uncomfortable to hold. Far better to look for a normal-sized paperback or hardback. I had to donate mine. It was eye-achingly hard to read.

Such a wonderful beautiful book. Great price. Dickens at his very best. Buy. You won’t regret it

I was very disappointed with this item when it arrived. The book was half the size it portrayed on amazon and the one book was defective. I don’t think I can read the print because it’s so tiny so not sure if I should keep them or return them. Very disappointing...:-(
