Piano Chord Progressions: For Beatmakers Paperback – January 13, 2020

Just started using your "Piano Chord Progressions: For Beat Makers" and wanted to say how amazing this book is. I've barely started studying the two chord progressions and I'm already discovering new ways to approach beat making. Even if you're not a player, per say, you can get your fingers on the correct keys and sample the chord which you can then assign to a pad for sequencing. Also, you can pick out melodies by hitting the single notes that make up the chords. By starting with the bass note you can also discover bass lines for your beat. I see this book as a manual of inspiration more than a way to become proficiant on the keys--although you can do that with it too, for sure! There are many roads to finding your way into a new beat and they're all good. This book is an 8 lane highway and I highly recommend it to all beat heads.

This is definitely a good reference guide and beneficial to all musicians!

The chord progressions in this book are trash. Not a single one sounds good. Simple ii - V - i progression sounds better than every progression in this book. I regret wasting my money on this
