I thought this was a good deal for the money. When the package arrived with 1 broken bulb I was not happy. I have yet to receive a response in reference to a refund for the bulb.

I keep reordering these because they work better than other bulbs, They last a long time and they do not hum as the LEDs do.

I've been using the GE Reveal bulbs for a long long time. Really like the color of the light from them for a desk lamp that ends up being a living room lamp most of the time. I found these Sylvania bulbs on a deal of the day and decided to give them a try. I liked the price first and foremost, but now after using one in a 2 bulb lamp, where I can actually switch back and forth between the last of my Reveal bulbs and this new Sylvania, I like these bulbs too. There is a slight color difference, but close enough not to be upset about. So far its has lasted as long as the Reveal brand.I now have a choice when needed bulbs that aren't CFL, LED or cheap incandescent.I will most likely buy them again.

I have a small light fixture that requires a 60W incandescent light bulb, LED bulbs are too large. I purchased the box of four and found that the first bulb I inserted would not light up, tried a second bulb and then the other two and they worked fine. I then tried the defective bulb in another lamp, and it would not light up. It is the first time that I have ever encountered a defective light bulb in a new box!It is not worth the trouble of returning the box of four, paid for four and got three!

Update: they make a noticeable high pitched humming or buzzing noise when used in a dimmer switch and not running at max setting. At max setting they make no noise but at any other setting they make an annoying humming sound.Working great so far. Has a soft white light.

I have an old dimmer switch in a room at home and these lightbulbs work with that dimmer switch. This dimmer switch that I have doesn’t work well with dimmable LED or CFL lightbulbs. So I am happy that these Sylvania lightbulbs are available.The Sylvania lightbulbs that I bought are halogen lightbulbs that look like the old kind of incandescent lightbulbs. So that is how they can produce the equivalent of the light from a 40-watt incandescent lightbulb while using only 28 watts.These particular lightbulbs are Sylvania’s Double Life lightbulbs. That means that these lightbulbs last twice as long as the version of these lightbulbs that are not Double Life lightbulbs. I think Amazon sells both the regular versions and the Double Life versions. So if longer lightbulb life is important to you then you should choose the Double Life versions of these Sylvania lightbulbs.In terms of whether or not I would buy these lightbulbs again, I would say that I would buy these lightbulbs again.

My previous LED lights were bothering me at home. They produced a harsh white color and flickered due to being attached to a light socket controlled by a dimmer switch. This is a major problem for anyone working from home and dealing with a distracting flickering light on Zoom meetings. The overall brightness of these bulbs is definitely not as high as what you get with a 60w bulb but other than that I have had no issues. The warm yellow tones produced by these bulbs are pleasant and are easier to work with during the night.

Works pretty well, just the yellow'ish light looks a little odd compared to the other light bulbs I have.

Exactly as described and works well! thank goodness - i hate the new white lights.
