I need one of these attractive, useful fans in every bag I own. They're a necessity on a hot, stinky subway platform!These are a little shorter than the last batch I ordered, which is good because shorter is less fragile. The bamboo makes a stronger fan than paper ones anyway. I don't think I've ever had one break or come apart, though I do lose them.Also, the last time I ordered these that came in a batch, I gave them away because everybody liked them and I felt like I had an endless supply. Suddenly, I found I'd given them all away, and needed more, so here I am again, ordering them for apparently the 4th time. Unless you know me and I give you one, I suggest ordering a batch of your own. You'll look mysterious when you flip it open and you'll be cool in both senses of the word. :)

I put these in bridesmaids bags and the were so thankful after professional hair and makeup. I watched them use them all night after leaving the dance floor. They all loved them. Very good product and the price is right.

Worth the money

I bought two packs of these, and gave them out to the girls and ladies at our family gathering, for a hot/humid weekend in Kentucky. These were a hit! Yes, they are cheap and not very strong, but for this price it was well worth the bang. Just use them as they were designed for, fans and not flyswatters. None of the fans I received were broken, though numerous of them needed a bit of the line trimmed, that holds them together.As I've lived in a few places in South America, I had different relatives ask me where I bought these. I told them they "were right out of the jungles of the Amazon"... :) Yes, these were a hit.

I bought these as part of a gift bag for each one of our guests who came to our Mexico destination wedding. We knew it was going to be hot and we thought it would be nice for people to have a fan for the outdoor ceremony! The design on the fan was perfect...just a little more than just wood, but not too much either. These were individually wrapped which was perfect for each of the gift bags and the transport to Mexico. Since I didn't have the bridesmaids have flowers in their hands...they decided to carry these down the aisle and they were very cute and not too much!

While they might be made from sandalwood, the only scent is a slight mustiness.The cutouts in the fan blades are not sawn, they are stamped out with what seems to be dull stamps so the edges of the detail are pretty rough.The fishing line used to hold the blades in place is sloppy with most of the fans with 4 or 5 inches of line dangling on each side of the fan.For Just over $1 each, they are an OK buy. If I saw them for a buck in a store (where I could examine them before purchase) I might not get them if I had other choices, or did not have an immediate need.

Los adquirí para tener por lo menos uno de uso personal y colección ya que los había observado en diferentes películas, obviamente son algo frágiles y de sumo cuidado por tanto deben de ser manipulados con delicadeza para que duren más tiempo, en lo personal me gustó mucho su forma, diseño y material con que están fabricados los abanicos para un uso manual.

Bought these for a spring wedding where the ceremony is outside. They are adorable and look much nicer than the .48 cents apiece price would warrant. Look cute in a basket at the entrance to the ceremony and I am sure they will get used if its a warm day. There is a tiny metal grommet attached to the bottom where you could thread a ribbon through if you like for a bow or a wrist loop, but that is a little more work than I want to do. Maybe a job for the teenagers, if I can get them away from video games for an hour! Great buy.
